The Making of a Gargoyle

In The Room:

When I had stood on the table for a short while,
I decided to hop down to the floor, it was not more then two feet, after all.
With the three steps to the end of the table,
I made a quick and graceful jump off of the table, landing on the floor.
What struck me, is how graceful and flexible I felt as I jumped from the table.
Landing squarely on my both feet, it was easy, easier then I imagined.
“Good, you're all clear of the Cauldron.
Now I can use the rest to mould your tail and wings!” she exclaimed excitedly.
I nodded, I felt I was lacking something, the tail, and the wings would be it.
“Have a seat, please!” she told me; “This should not take too long!”
I found the seat she indicated, prepared to wait.
“Not long at all, indeed, not long at all.
I just need to pour the remaining materials in the forms!” she continued.
She then produced the bulky mass that was to be filled with the materials,
that was to make up what was to become my tail.
With some effort, she tilted the large Cauldron I had so recently been in.
The bloody red mass slowly flowed into the form to the brim.
Now she righted the Cauldron, just in time, not to spill any of it on the floor.
