The Moon

So I walked there on the dark empty beach, only the moon watching, shining down upon me. This was the true peace. That, that I’ve always searched for. I didn’t bother thinking about that maybe I’ll stay that way forever, walking alone down the road. I wanted this moment to last for a very long time. Feeling the warm gentle wind ruffle my hair and clothes. The waves swashing when reaching the shore. I stopped as I watched my white skirt fly a bit, then looked up to the moon, and just drowned in it for a few minutes. I started moving slowly again. This was the utter peace.
