Turn Back Time

I couldn't tell you exactly why I'd agreed to come here.

I wasn't trying to find myself, and I wasn't trying to lose myself, either.

I didn't know my brother. I'd spent the majority of my life growing up without him. He was in his mid-thirties now, climbing up the corporate ladder, and meeting all kinds of interesting people as he went. It made no sense for me to be visiting him for the summer.

But here I was, stepping out of the air-conditioned, Arizona airport with my bags in hand.

I'd always been told that life was a mysterious thing, and in time, it would all make sense. I was still waiting for the day I'd understand any of this.
