"Wish You Well" Meriwether

Shadows growled loudly in the silent room, he was standing
at his window watching Aida walk through the courtyard towards the
exit. It angered him to know he could not find the source of her pain.
The prince could not understand why she wanted so desperately to
hide the attackers. She had no reason to fear harm at the hands of
her attackers any longer, Shadows would have protected her if telling
him caused her problems. He just did not understand her keeping
secrets.

Though, the prince figured her secrets was the least of his
problems as he had his own secret to protect. Shadows sighed.
He did not want to keep his secret. He wanted to go to Aida and
show her just how passionate he felt. The prince did not understand
this either. Sure he had wanted women before but this was different
there was more than just possesion in his gut. There was a fluttering
feeling, like he was nervous. The feeling only got worse when he
was near that female.

The prince growled again as his mind trailed back to the last
time he had seen Aida. Though Shadows had visited not, he still saw
her. He followed her in his shadow form each time she left her room.
The last time had been just a day previous, Aida had gone to the
garden. She had been beautiful standing among the flowers though
they looked a bit whilted by her presence.

The prince had been preparing to approach her when a guard
had come to Aida. Shadows could see the interest in his eyes, the
male had spoken to her for a few moments before glancing around
to lay eyes upon Shadows. After that the guard had run off quickly.

Shadows could only imagine what was written upon his face.
He had a distinct feeling that Aida was his key to life; the only time
Shadows could remember such a thing being mentioned was by
his father. The king had taken Shadows aside as a young boy
and explained the way of grown shadow beings. His father
had told of an uncontrolable bonding that only happened when
two soulmates found each other. Shadows had always figured
the story was his mother's doing to give the boy a sense of
romance but now he had to wonder.

It was the only valid explanation for all his strange
behaviors. It would explain the possesive feelings, the intense
dreams, and the pain leaving a hole in his heart. The bonding
would also be the reason for the prince's highten sexual desires
as of late.

He could not just let her leave. He did not care if he had
to beg for her to stay with or without those names; Aida Harris
was meant to be his.
