Ich Liebe Dich, Teacher

I got no regret right now (I’m feeling this)

Haleigh Roller, a girl of eighteen, was sitting in her seat, waiting to be called up for graduation. As she looked at her fellow students, she would be happy to never see some of their faces again, but like any other student; she would miss some people very much. Her green hues travelled over to a certain teacher who was standing alongside the wall. The man wasn’t looking at her, no, he was looking at the principal as he spoke, never once looking in Haleigh’s direction. A small frown was placed upon her lips. The graduating high school student had known that man for eight months now; never in such a period of time had one person manage to change her life forever.

It all started when Haleigh was out to dinner after a dance competition with her team mates Alexis, Ginny and Tara. Haleigh had just won first place in the competition for her acro routine while their group dance won second place for the group routine.

One of Haleigh’s hands touched the tiara on top of her head for confirmation. No matter how many times she had won a title, to win first place shocked her every time.

“I think a toast is in order!” Alexis grinned widely. The girls picked up their drinks and brought them together in the middle of the table. “Here’s to having the most amazing dance team we could wish for with our second place and to Haleigh’s solo winning first!”

A few clinks could be heard before the girls brought their cups to their lips. Not very long after their toast did the group of men in the booth next to them turned and faced them.

“Ah, a group a dancers next to us, eh?” A man who looked to be in his early twenties with sandy blond hair spoke up.

“That we would be, boys. Title winners, too,” a smirk soon found its way to Tara’s face. She always did love flirting with men. “Why don’t you lot come join us?”

“We would love to,” the same man spoke.

When the four men stood up and took a hold of their drinks to bring to the girls’ table, Haleigh’s eyes caught one of the taller men. He was quite cute, she noted. You could see a massive amount of colour all over his skin, his full sleeve of tattoos popping out on his right arm, a chest piece half shown through his grey v-neck and a few tattoos shown on left. Haleigh couldn’t help but to smile at the man. Once he spotted her, she promptly returned the smile and took a seat next to her. The girl took a deep breath in, he had the most beautiful blue eyes she had ever seen.

“I’m Reign,” he offered her his hand as he placed his beer on the table.

“Haleigh.”

“So, Haleigh, what’s with the tiara?” Reign joked after shaking her hand. “You some sort of princess I should know about?”

“No,” a small laugh escaped her lips, “I’ve just won first place for my solo at a dance competition.”

“Ah, I’m in the presence of an amazing dancer, then. What kind of dance was it?”

“Acro.”

“I’m actually not that well educated with dance I’m afraid, maybe you would explain it more to me?”

As soon as Haleigh opened her mouth to speak, Tara’s voice pervaded the space. “It means she can do all that flipping shit and she’s flexible as fuck. Imagine that in bed,” she said with a wink and a smirk to accompany her statement.

“Willst du mich verarschen..” Haleigh said under her breath in German. Being born in Austria and speaking German half the time at home really came in handy sometimes. Her eyes were locked on Tara as she took her tiara off and placed it on the table.
*Are you kidding me..

“War sie eigentlich nicht dazu sagen?” Reign asked quietly before Haleigh looked up at him, bewildered. What was the chance of him knowing how to speak German? They were in Providence, the German population was not high at all.
*Was she not supposed to say that?

“You speak German?”

“My dad’s from Germany, what about you?” He asked with a smile, when she sipped her drink and wasn’t looking, the twenty-three-year-old couldn’t help but to look her up and down. Of course, he was respectful of women, but being on his second beer, he wasn’t able to stop himself.

“I was actually born in Austria.”

“Oh, wo–”

“Say, you girls old enough to drink?” The man with sandy blond hair spoke up loudly, interrupting Reign.

“Of course we are,” of course, Tara spoke before any of the other girls could protest.
“Good,” he winked at her before calling a waitress over to them and ordering a round of shots.

After three rounds of shots, Reign and Haleigh had found themselves talking for an hour and a half about history, Austria, Germany and dancing. The two of them had each never found someone they clicked so easily with. Perhaps it was the alcohol in their systems or perhaps it wasn’t. All that Haleigh knew was that she found herself to soon be sneaking into the bathroom with Reign, their fingers intertwined.

The second the door was shut behind them, Haleigh locked it and turned to Reign. He didn’t waste any time in waiting to kiss her; their lips were soon locked. After he worked her dance company’s jacket off her, he pulled back and whispered in her ear, “show me how flexible you are.”

A smirk appeared on the dancer’s lips as she pushed him back softly and threw her right leg up and held it so her legs were in a perfect 180 degree angle. Reign’s eyes widened when she said ‘that was something simple and easy.’ Once she put her leg down, he closed the space between them, nibbling on her ear and whispering once more, “I think we can put that to good use..”
