"Come on guys!" I called up the stairs to my younger sister and two younger brothers.
My brothers jumped down the stairs.
"Janey! Let's go!" I called.
"Oh my god," she grunted as she came down the stairs.
"Have a good day kids," my dad said hugging each of us.
"You too," we all chorused.
I grabbed my keys and walked out the door. Followed by siblings.
"Shot gun!" my brother, Leo said.
"Janey gets shotgun. She's older," I said.
"WHAT? I called it!"
"Do you want to walk?"
He got in the back. Janey shot me a smile.
"Is this going to be dreadfully awful?" my brother, Brennan asked.
"Probably you stupid freshmen," I said.
Janey chuckled.
"You're not so special as a junior Leila!"
"Two years over you two twerps," I turned up the radio so I couldn't hear them anymore.
When we got to school. We all got out.
"You kids walk behind us. You're disgraces," Janey said.
They huffed and started walking towards the school.
"This is going to be dreadful..." Janey said to me as she looked around at the people we now had to be in school with.
"Just breathe. It'll be okay. It's not that horrid. Some of them look normal..." I looked at them. "Nevermind."
We walked into the school and to the Main Office. We picked up our schedules and a little map showing us where each hall was. One of the administrators walked me to the buses, because I had a class at a different campus for both my first periods. They got me on the bus. I plugged myself into my iPod and turned on my music. Someone sat next to me. I looked over to see a boy looking at me. He looked like he wanted to say something. I pulled out one of my headphones.
"Are you new here?" he asked.
"Yeah. Just moved here," I nodded.
"I like your accent," he smiled sweetly.
"Thanks," I smiled, looking down.
"I'm Josh."
"I'm Leila."
"Nice to meet you."
"Like wise."
"You're a junior right?"
"Yeah."
"Perfect," he smiled.
I smiled at my feet.
This was going to be interesting.
