I Wanna See Your Face and Know I Made it Home.

“So, Gabbi,” I began, scooting closer to her on the couch, “wanna watch a movie?” I asked, gesturing toward the TV.
“Sure.” Gabbi said, nodding. I got up and looked through the DVD collection.

“Do you wanna watch ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ or ‘Halloween 3’?” I asked.
“A Nightmare on Elm Street, please!” Gabbi said. I giggled and then put the DVD in the DVD player.
I sat back down on the couch. Gabbi cuddled close to my side. I draped an arm over her shoulder.

As soon as one of the teenagers fell asleep and had a nightmare with Freddy in it, I jumped, squeaked, and then buried my face in Gabbi’s shoulder. I could hear her giggling. “Hey!” I said, taking my face out of her shoulder.
“Charlie, I’m not laughing at you. I’m just giggling. You’re adorable when you squeak.” Gabbi stated.

I blushed and looked down at my feet.

“Well, you’re just adorable in general,” I said, poking Gabbi in the ribs.

“Hey!” Gabbi said, pointing at the TV screen. I glanced over at it, then squeaked. Freddy was chopping up another chick and there was a whole lotta blood.

As the movie went on, I began getting tired. I had decided to stop watching the read and decided to read a book. It was just a random, romance novel. But believe me, it was a piece o’ crap. But instead of watching Freddy Krueger kill people, I had to suck it up and read this piece of crap.
I yawned, setting the book down. I laid my head down on Gabbi’s shoulder and soon drifted to sleep.

Where the hell am I? I thought, prying my eyes open. I suddenly leapt to my feet. I was standing in the middle of a boiler room. Damn!

I heard a scraping noise. It was worse than nails on a chalk board. It was metal on metal. Looking around, I screamed. The one and only Freddy Krueger was advancing on me. I began running in the other direction.

I know, I know. It’s a terrible idea to start running away from the horror movie character. Jogging is the way of life.
“Gabs! Aiden! Mom! Dad! Someone!! Help!!” I screamed as I fled away from Freddy. I continued to flee and scream, but it felt like Freddy wasn’t getting any closer.

So, I stopped and spun around. Bad move. I felt a hand atop of my head. And then I was pulled into a dark room.

I screamed, jumping to my feet and panting. “What’s wrong?!” Gabbi asked, running into the living room from the kitchen.
“Uh… nothing… I’m all right…” I lied through my teeth.
“No, you’re not ‘all right.’ You look terrified out of your own skin, Charlie.” Gabbi pointed out.
“No, seriously, I am a – okay,” I lied, yet again.

I was close to breaking down and clinging to Gabriella. But that wasn’t an option. I may be a rebel, but I have my crying moments.
“I am a – okay, Gabs, seriously.” Liar!
“C’mon, sit down. I’ll go get you a glass of water.” Gabbi said.

“No, I’m all right. You sit down and I’ll go get us some snacks,” I said. Gabbi shrugged, sat down, then started up another movie. I walked into the kitchen, grabbed some chips and a couple of sodas. And then went back into the living room. I handed Gabbi her soda and some chips. Then plunked down next to her.

“What – cha watchin’ now?” I asked.
“The Outsiders,” Gabbi replied.
“I love that book.” I stated.
“Really? I haven’t read it. The movie is eh. The death scene and rumble scene were bad – ass. But I still don’t know who’s Ponyboy.” She said.

“I loved the book,” I yawned, stretching my arms over my head, “what time is it?”
“Holy crap! It’s midnight!” Gabbi yelled.
“So that’s the reason why I’m so tired,” I yawned, again.

“Well, let’s go to bed.” Gabbi said. I nodded and got up. I walked into the room I hid in after I kissed Gabbi. And she was… following me?
“What – cha doin’?” I asked her.
“Gonna go to bed,” she replied, taking off her shoes.
I shrugged, then yawned. Damn, I need to stop yawning so much.

I grabbed my PJs and then quickly changed into them. Gabbi changed into her PJs, too, and then
“Love you,” she said, kissing my cheek. I giggled.
“Love you. Night.” I said, turning off the light that was on the dresser next to my bed.

I snuggled next to Gabbi and soon, fell into a deep slumber.

Why, hello there. :]

Well, I'm sorry that I didn't update sooner. Quick warning: When Lola posts up her chapter, I have no idea when I'll be able to post up next. Ya see, my mom is gonna take away my laptop. I have it now 'cause I have a report on "The Outsiders" Book VS. Movie due on Monday and I need my laptop for that. I'll be able to update on my iPod, though. :D
