There's nothing wrong with me and you
Dear Ethan,
You came back through to me with a comforting smile on your face. I hiccup wildly, shaking so badly I could barely sit up straight, but you simply sat next to me, wrapping your arms around me until I calmed down. I didn't remove my face from the crook of your neck though, and stayed safely hidden beside you silently. You sat there for ages, saying nothing with a look of concentration on your face.
After a long while I relaxed completely, safe in the knowledge that you were calm again. It was a one time fluke, I told myself, you wouldn't hurt me again.
For a long time, I believed myself. For a long time, I was happy.
