I turned you. Can I still love you?

My mom and John was shocked to here that Demetri and I are engaged.

"Alex. You're engaged to him? Do you know how dangerous that is?"

I laughed. "This coming from someone dating a vampire. Besides, you aren't the first person to tell me that."

She shook her head. "Alex, I don't know what the volturi is but it sounds dangerous. Get away from him."

"You don't know about the volturi?" Demetri asked.

Both John and my mom shook their heads.

"We have to take him," Demetri said.

I nodded.

"Take him where?" my mom asked.

"To Volterra, Italy. He must meet the volturi"

We grabbed him and took him to the airport. My mom didn't come. I told her it wouldn't be smart.

"Who is this, Alex and Demetri?"

"His name is John. He is a vampire and yet he's never heard of the volturi."

"That's a shame. He doesn't know our rules."

"This is rediculous. Why should I answer to you people?"

I looked at Jane. She smiled at me.

"Maybe Jane can show you why."

Jane smiled.

"Requesting pain now are we?" Demetri asked.

"Only when people make me mad." I said.

John started screaming. He was holdong his head and rolling on the floor.

"Make it stop!" he screamed.

He stopped screaming.

He got up. "What is going on? Who are you people?!"

"We are the volturi.." Aro started.

"We lead the strongest coven in the world.." marcus added.

"And all vampires under our rule must answer to us." Caius finished.

That wasn't necessary but hey.

"So that includes me?"

"Yes."

John nodded. "Can I go home now?"

John looked like he soiled his pants.

Aro nodded.

We left. Once we got outside, John fell.

"I think I just threw up in my mouth."

"Now that you've met your rulers"

"I think I waqnt to go home..."

We took him home (which is actually my house).

"John, are you okay?"

"Yeah..."

"Well I think it's time we throw a party"

"What?"

"Every time a new vampire join the coven, we throw a party to celebrate." Demetri said.

I nodded. "Wait, how come no party was thrown for me?" I asked.

"Because a war started."

"Oh yeah..."

Demetri went by John and he flinched. "There's no telling what you can do."

Demetri laughed. John was serious.

"Let's go."

"Um..I'll stay here." I said.

"What? Why?" Demetri said.

" don't really think I should go. You guys have fun."

Demetri came and kissed me. "Be back, love."

Then they left. Now to wait.
