I Did What Last Night?

Next Morning

Nikki’s P.O.V.

I can’t wait to get out of my own house. What can I say that happened last night other than me wanting to hurt George and some how it ended up in us making out? Yeah that’s not a very good thing since we’re not suppose to like each other or even want to have sex. I mean that was my game plan from first finding out we have to live together was no sex but now I’m not to sure anymore.

I got dressed for work and saw George was awaking talking to a girl. Maybe I shouldn’t be listening to what they are saying but hey it’s my house.

“Can you just watch her for a few hours?” she asked him

“Why when you don’t even want me around right now?” he told her

“George you’re her father you should want to be around your daughter more” she told him

Right then I knew she was Asia the guys told me about her. Maybe I should make it known I’m here. I mean it might as well be known I’m very much awake and needing to leave to work soon. I mean we’re suppose to be getting a mom to check out the daycare since this is going to be her daughter’s first time in one.

I went straight to the kitchen and didn’t really want to look at them. I mean this is kind of awkward. I mean the whole babies momma and wife in the same house or even in the same area never goes as planned.

At least I had my things ready to go. I mean all I really needed to do was grab my bag and leave for work. I just hoping things are going to work out and no drama before work. I just made sure I grabbed my lunch before leaving the kitchen.

“Why are you up?” George said ignoring her now

“I do I think called working during the day” I told him

“Yeah at your mystery job” he said

“At least I’m not going to sleep all day like I know you are” I told him

“How long have you been married and she already knows you” Asia told him

“Why don’t I just got with you?” he asked her

“Like you’d know what to ask the people” she snapped at him

“Well at least I’m trying” he told her

“Okay I’m just going to leave since I have to handle something’s at work” I said walking out of my house.

I can’t wait until I get to see my kids. I mean the last time I saw them I was so down and they all tried to make me feel better. I mean those kids have big hearts I just wished other will see it once they leave the daycare. I kind of wonder why they we’re fighting anyways but not my place to judge since I did marry I guy I don’t even know.

First thing I was going to do was go to Starbucks though. I mean I need my caffeine fix right now. I mean I’m not big on coffee but I sure can drink tea. I soon ordered my shaken green tea lemonade and left to work.

I got to the daycare and saw both Taylor’s and London’s cars are here already. Maybe I should have called them before I left Starbucks but how was I suppose to know I was going to run a little late? I sure didn’t plus I now know I’m not the only one who thinks George is lazy.

“Why are you running late?” London asked me

Right when I was going to answer Taylor answered for me.

“Chocolate she was getting a early morning quickie leave her alone” Taylor said

“I doubt that one Taylor” London said

“Just remember use a condom everything” Taylor told us

“I’m not that dumb not to use one” I said

“So you are fucking him” Taylor said drinking coffee

“No but if I was I wouldn’t be that dumb not too plus he already has a kid” I said

“Yeah Matt told me” London said

“What else did Matt said?” Taylor said

“Well he is a really funny guy” she said

“I think I’m going to be sick” I said

“That’s what happens when you have sex” Taylor said laughing

“No because hearing Matt is a sweet guy after he’s been called a pussy snake since we met him isn’t the first thing I want to hear” I said

“No shit I mean there is always I reason behind every name right chocolate” Taylor said

“Guys just give him a chance” London said

“LC I’m married to his friend who happens to be a pain in my ass what makes him so different from him?” I asked her

“Please just for me” she said to us

“We’ll think about it how does that sound?” I asked her

“No shit unless he gets me with Jorel then we can really talk” Taylor said

“How much coffee have you had?” I asked her

“Oh just about a pot since I’ve been here” London said

“Now chocolate that’s not very nice” Taylor said

“Yet it’s true” she told her

“But it could have been worse” Taylor said

I saw a few parents we’re just getting here while they we’re talking about how much sugar Taylor has had so far. Yeah Taylor is bad on sugar and caffeine but we still love her.

“Hey kids” I told them

“Nikki” they both said coming to hug me.

I never thought hugs would feel so good until this moment. I mean I just needed a clear thought and these guys are helping me.

“Are you feeling better?” Kevin asked me

“Yes I’m feeling much better now” I told them

“So can we paint today?” Amanda asked me

“I think we can if you guys want” I told them

“Yeah” they both said and we went inside and they put there things away.

Within the next ten minutes the rest of the kids got here. I’m so happy to see them. I mean these kids mean so much to me and I can’t believe everything I worked for was almost taken away by someone who I thought loved me. Yeah pretty fucked up right?

We got all the painting supplies out and I saw three people at the daycare I didn’t think I would have seen here today. I mean what would you think of your husband and babies momma here along with their daughter.

They are probably thinking the same things but I don’t really care I’m painting with Amanda and Kevin. I mean these two are so close together it’s easier when they get here first since they always say what they want to do and are probably some of the closest kids to me.

“What are you doing here?” George asked me

“Painting” I said out of being a smartass to him.

“I can see that but why?” he asked me

“Just think about it maybe you’ll figure it out” I told him

“Chocolate I need more paint” Taylor said while she was with Ben, Adam and Chris.

“I’ll get it only because it’s for the boys painting not yours” London said

“So this is your job?” he asked me looking at the kids

“Yeah me and Taylor own the daycare” I told him

“I would have never guessed” he said

“Yeah I mean there is nothing wrong with being around kids all the time” I told him

“That’s something he doesn’t know” Asia said

“I’m just going to take a wild guess and say London is supposed to be showing you around and everything for your daughter?” I asked her

“Yeah” she said putting the little girl down.

“London” I said

“Huh?” she asked giving the paint to Taylor and the boys.

“I’m guessing you forgot you had a meeting this morning” I told her

She thought about and nodded her head.

“Yeah I did” she said

“I’m not sure how she’s going to react to the other kids though but maybe it would be best for her to be around them while we talk” Asia said

“Yeah it is plus you’ll get a picture out of it” London said

“Well I’ll take her from here while you guys go talk” I said

“Amanda can you save you paints with Ava so she can do a pretty picture for her mommy?” I asked her

“Yeah” she said

“Alright guys I’ll get more paint and some more paper so Ava can make a picture too” I told them.

“Nikki can I help you?” Kevin asked me

“Sure I think I’d need help to carry the paint over here” I told him

I gave Kevin a few paints and grabbed a few more and the paper. I went back to the table and saw the girls we’re really working well together.

“What are you guys making?” I asked looking at the picture

“A butterfly it was Ava’s idea” Amanda said

“That a really pretty butterfly” I told them

“Thanks Nikki” They both said

“No problem” I told them

“Nikki does you like my dragon?” Kevin asked me

“You know I always love you guys’ pictures” I told them

“Where’s chocolate?” Taylor asked me

“Talking with Ava’s parents” I said pulling out my phone and texting her who her parents are.

I mean as you could have guessed I was shocked to see him even in this place to begin with but I guess this is a good thing since now I get to know his daughter is Asia choose this is the right daycare for her.

“You should have told me you owned a daycare” he told me

“Why?” I asked him

“Because that would of explains a lot of the kids drawing you have” he said

“Yeah but I also could of worked at a school or even been a nurse and you would of never known” I told him

“You like keeping me in the dark don’t you?” he asked me

“Maybe” I said

“Yeah I know you do but she seems to like it here” he said looking at his daughter

“Who doesn’t like it here?” Taylor said

“I wouldn’t know” he said

“It’s different from what everyone thinks we do though I mean who ever think we’d take care of kids during the day after what happened the other night?” she asked him

“Not me” he said

“Exactly” she told him and leaving to look for some candy or something.

Yeah Taylor and sugar isn’t the best idea but the kids think its funny when she keeps calling London chocolate and even start calling her that. Well mainly the boys do that but still it’s out of fun and that’s one thing we all like to do.

“You like your job don’t you?” he asked me

“If I didn’t like it do you think I’d still be here?” I asked him

“Probably not” he said

“Yeah so as you see I’m not a spoiled princess as you thought” I told him

“I can tell from the paint you have on your face” he said smirking

“I do not have paint on my face” I told him

He came close to me and got a paint brush and put blue paint on my face.

“That’s not even cool” I told him after grabbing the paint brush

“You wouldn’t” he said while I was next to him

I did the same thing but with red paint and more of it on him.

“That looks like fun” Kevin said

“Okay no paint fights or marker fights Kevin” I told him

“But you did it” he said

“Yeah but he started it” I said pointing at George

“So if I throw paint on Amy it will be okay?” he asked me

“No it will not be okay and not throwing paint on each other” I told him

“What will happen if I did?” he asked with his little devil smirk

“Time out for the rest of the day” I told him

“That’s not fair” he whined

“Yeah that’s not fair if you did it” George said

“I don’t think it would be fair for Amy either” I said looking at the little girl in pigtails.

“Come on he’s just going to be a boy and pick on the girl he likes” George said

“Girls have cooties” Kevin said

“Then does Nikki have cooties?” George asked him

“No” Kevin said

“But she’s a girl” he told Kevin

“No she’s a woman” he told George.

I started laughing. I mean I love this kid. He even sticks up for me when he shouldn’t. Wonder if he was trying to hint something though about painting the people you like? I guess I’ll just have to wait to figure it out.
