Letting Go

I swallowed hard as it all hit me full-force; I was going to sit here and watch the man I love marry another woman. I was going to give him up without a fight. I was going to let him go without ever letting him know how I really felt. And I was going to be left regretting this day for the rest of my life, wondering if things would have been different if I had just had the guts to just tell him I’m in love with him.
