Passion's Killing Floor

And to Evil We Make Love

"You're so fucking dominant, Jesus," I said, breathing heavily still.

"You tried to lull me into sex. It just doesn't work that way," he teased, "Though, I must say, you're good at holding in your moans. It makes everything so much more enticing to see you struggle."

"You're such a sadistic person, Ville. I'm going to go to your dad's shop and buy handcuffs and a whip, teach you a lesson."

"Already got them, love. But you'll never find out where they are. On another note, though. We've christened the bed. Its' never seen something like that before. Well... not with two people."

I looked over at him and he had his head turned just like mine, gazing at me. He sighed deeply and rolled onto his side, draping his arm across my stomach and resting his head on my shoulder.

"Mary?" he mumbled.

"Yes."

He kissed my shoulder lightly, "Marice... will you," he cleared his throat, "Will you be my wife?" he asked. I felt him slide a cool ring on my finger, but didn't bring it up to look at it.

"Are you.. are you serious? Y-yes! Fuck yes! ... after sex though?"

"Really? Thank god," he sighed, kissing my lips softly, ignoring my question. He brought my hand up to my chest, "Look at it."

I looked down at the ring on my finger... a small green stone almost identical to the colour of his eyes was set on a thin golden band.

"It was my Mamma's. Papa gave it to me for when I found the perfect girl. I didn't even give this to Jonna... You're the one, Mary."

"You're such a cheesy jerk, you're making me tear up!" I said, wiping my eyes.

"Darling, how many times must I remind you, I don't like cheese," he joked, kissing my cheeks. "Now how about let's get dressed, head back to your home and get ready. We're going out to dinner. You, Danni, Mindy, the boys, their girls and I."

"Auntie Mary, can I wear make-up like you and Auntie Danni?" Mindy asked, sitting on the bathroom counter beside me.

"You want to? well, let's see," I grabbed some nude blush out of my small make up box and brushed some on her cheeks. The light caught the sparkles in it. Then I took a brush and put some light lavender shadow on her lids, to match her dress. Last I handed her some lip gloss which she happily put on.

"All done, you look very pretty, go ask Uncle Ville what he thinks."

"Ask Uncle me what?" Ville asked, walking into the bathroom.

"What you think of Mindy's make-up," I told him, smiling at the girl on my counter.

"Well where is she? All I see is this gorgeous little girl on the counter. It can't be Mindy!"

"It is me!" she said happily.

He gasped, "No. It can't be true. You're too pretty. So pretty I could eat you."

He picked her up and swung her around. She laughed and screamed while he made 'monster' sounds.

"Okay are we all ready?" I asked.

"Uh, yeah. We'll meet up with the mates at the restaurant. Burton and Migé are already there. So let's get going. Danni's driving so.. hope you don't value your life too much."

"No, because it has absolutely no meaning now. I mean, it's not like I'm engaged or anything," I said, sarcastically.

He rolled his eyes and walked out with Mindy, shutting off the lights leaving me in the dark.

"Thanks. Good thing I'm not in here."

"Just shut up and come on," he said from the living room.

He was helping Mindy get her coat on when I walked out. He pulled my jacket off the hook and held it out for me, helping me as well.

"Awh, proper Finnish gentleman. All mine," I giggled, pecking his lips.

"Finally, made it. People were starting to look at us odd, like Migé and I were dating," Burton said as we took our seats.

"Back off Burton, we all know Migé is Ville's gay lover," I told him, with a grin. He rolled his eyes and smiled.

"Not from what I've heard. A little birdy told me that you and Mr. Valo have engaged in more than just sexual activities."

"Oh shut up. But yes, after our other engagement, he proposed," I squealed, sticking out my hand for Burton and Migé to see.

"Nice, how typical a proposal for you, Ville."

"Oh yeah. Hey look, it's the other engaged couple, let us bother them yeah?" Ville said, as Linde and Manna came to the table.

"That doesn't really count, they've been engaged for a while now. You two are fresh meant," Migé said.

Linde looked around, saying 'hi' to everybody. He introduced me to Manna, whom I had never met before. She was very pretty and small, very kind.

"Valo's engaged, eh?" she asked. "You're the lucky girl I presume?" she looked at me.

"Yes. The very lucky girl," Ville answered. "And I'm one very lucky bastard."

"You know you're dad, so don't call yourself that. One lucky womanizer, man-whore, creeper, choose one," Manna joked.

"We're all a very sarcastic bunch of people. Has anyone else noticed?" I asked.

"We noticed that years ago, love," Linde said. "We all just set ourselves up for jokes. Especially Valo over there."

"Oh shut up, at least my name isn't Lind-a"

"Yeah but my name's not William Herman Light, so."

I almost choked on my water. "William? Oh lord. You don't look like a William, love. You look like Ville."

"That's because I am Ville," he laughed.

"Gas made it! Finally dude, we were all waiting for you," Migé said.

"Sorry.. busy," he mumbled.

"Yeah, busy shagging," Burton said.

"Yeah actually," Gas said, smirking.

"There's a five year old at the table, guys. Maybe we make the jokes PG," Ville said.

A waitress came over to take our orders. About four people in she started to struggle with all the orders but she managed well- as our food proved to be a time later.

By the end of your meal, everyone was stuffed and Manna's cheeks permanently red from the wine. Ville's arm was draped around my shoulders and Mindy was in his lap. Danni had traded Migé spots and her and Burton and gotten on well during the night. I sense attraction.

Mindy was dozing off in Ville's lap, leaning her head on his chest again and again.

"I think we should all get going. I'm sure you all want to get to bed at eight-thirty at night," Ville joked.

"Well I had a great night, I'm glad we could get together and it was so nice to meet you, Mary. We should go shopping sometime, love. Call? Promise," Manna said, giving everyone small hugs and kisses.

"Promise, have a good night."

Linde laid some money on the table and bid everyone a good night. Gas and his girl following out. The rest of us got our shit together and walked out together.

"See you all in a week and half," Migé said.

"Yeah what he said," Burton laughed, he went over to Danni and hugged her, I was positive he slipped her his number. Then he hugged me and pat Ville on the back, walking off with Migé.

"Come on you love drunk girl, get us home. Mindy is exhausted," I told Danni, staring over at Ville holding Mindy in his arms.

"I'm not love drunk, I just have a new friend, kay?" she said, slamming the car door as she got in.

"She likes him," Ville and I said at the same time.

"Do not!" she screamed inside the car.

EDIT: These two chapters also take place about a month or so after what happened to Mindy's parents, I wouldn't make them heal that fast, no one does. Just clearing it up a bit.
