The Life of a Teenager

Just Shut-up and Listen

Another lecture
Just more time spent on negativities
What do my parents want from me?
I tried
Shouldn't that be enough for them?
They don't even accept perfection
It's not enough for them
They don't listen
They don't know how many nights I've spent
Thinking about how they looked at me
The anger
The Disappointment
So apparent in their eyes
This is just a war I cannot win
But I won't let this bother me any longer
