Sunset

The sky had succumbed to a wild sea of vibrance and warmth. Scarlet swirled and peach pranced through the soft cushioning of clouds. The colours merged as one, like a water colour painting. Jagged peaks of black silhouette mountains sliced through the beams of vivid tangerine.

Just above the lowest ridge, the sun crawled to its sleeping place, the ocean of fire fading until the very last embers winked and flickered in the darkness.
