My Nightmare's are Another's Dreams

Alex's P.O.V

Grace had almost found out about magic. It was amazing, she's only been here a day and already she's stumbling on the secrets connected to our pasts.

I wish i could let her know everything, i really do.

"Alex! Who-What was that?"

Grace spoke to me her eyes staring hard into mine.

i hesitated, i shouldn't of but her eyes were so....pleading.

I shrugged "I'm not permitted to tell you"

I put a hand over her eyes and let my will drift over them.
I could tell it was working, slowly her eyes closed.

"Was that enough?" a voice sounded in my head.

I grimaced, "More than your regular dose, it should be more than enough."

Slowly i stood and looked towards the owner of the voice.

It was a boy around my age, he had hypnotizing emerald eyes and flame orange hair.

"You shouldn't of done that" i told him, even if it saved her, he shouldn't of done that.

He shrugged, "I was with her at the time, what else could i of done?"

His voice was smooth and hypnotic, i glared at him.

"She's remembering now, she's going to be a handful."

He winked at me.

"Stop that!" i said glaring at him, "I won't fall prey to your spell!"

He looked at me in shock.

"What spell?"

The blood drains from my face as i look at his frown.

"Hey! Watch-" I started to say, but he was already flying through the air.

I crouch to all fours and look about, four monsters had managed to sneak up on us.

"Their already after her!" the boy shouted, fighting a demon two times his height.

I look about whilst dodging a blow.

"Where is she?"

All at once the fighting stopped and the monsters disappeared.

"Frell!" shouted the boy looking wildly about.

"frell?" i ask him giving him my 'did you just make that up' look.

He grunted and said "He had best be looking for her then"

I called to the magic around me and started searching the different dimensions in the area.
