We All Like the Irish Gentleman

“Oh” You said being pulled off your high cloud
“What’s wrong” Robb asked while Barry dropped his head
“I am most defiantly going but I don’t think my brother and sister will like it” You said Barry smiled brightly
“Oh that’s great I’d like to show you my home town if we go that way” Barry looked between you and Robb
“What are you talking about ____, why wouldn't your brother and sister be happy” Robb asked ignoring Barry’s random out burst
“Well this wasn't on my form and I hope it doesn't,. change your view of me but 4 years ago my dad was trampled by a horse and my mum hung her self not long after” You said holding back the tears as Barry wrapped an arm around you
“What does that have to do with going to Ireland” Robb asked going serious
“That’s were it happened” you said allowing a few tears to flow
“I’m so sorry” was all Robb could say
“There is something else” you said rubbing your eyes dry on your sleeve
“What is it?” Barry asked
“Well not long after my mum died I seen her walking around my aunties house I never told anyone not even my brother and sister” you said
“That should have gone on the form” Robb said
“I know but its something I would have liked to have kept to my self” You said
“Hi not interrupting am I” Sam said
“Nah brother place the drinks down and go get our pizza” You smiled
“Be right back with that also can you let your sister know that I have some silly staff weekend so I won’t be around this weekend” Sam said
“I’ll be sure to let her know man” You said
“Thanks dude” Sam said
“Your welcome my brother” You said extending your fist
“I’ll talk to ya later” Sam said pounding your fists together
“Maybe we should fire her now before Dustin finds out she’s hired” Robb said to Barry
“She knows you love her and you’d never do that” You smiled
“To true” Barry said
“Suck up” Robb said under his breath
“What did you say” Barry said
“Nothing” Robb said
“Oh you said something” Barry pushed

The rest of lunch was spent arguing between Barry and Robb as well as stuffing food in your mouth. For two people to get along like Barry and Robb do but still fight and be able to laugh it off was amazing. You couldn't help but stare at Barry taking in every move his face made and all the little details in his face. You were really starting to like Barry but you didn't know why. Soon you found your self walking back to the TAPS office.

“Hello earth to ____ calling _____” Robb said
“Pluto reporting” You said giving a salute and sticking your tongue out
“You almost ran into the back of Grant’s car” Robb giggled
“Sorry I have a way of drifting to another planet” You said
“We can see that” Barry said
“We can’t have that on cases though” said Robb
“You won’t I promise” You nodded
“Okay well let’s get in side we’ll meet some of the others” Robb said
“Okay but first I want to call my brother and sister so they know I’m safe” You said taking your phone out

You dial your sister’s number and wait after the 6th ring your sister answered.

“Hello” Sarah said
“Hay sis just letting you know I’m not dead” You said
“Well duh your with your new job” You sister said
“Yeah…wait how did you know about the job” You asked
“We knew that you would get the job” Your sister said
“Yeah well, hay do you remember the guys from last night” You asked
“Oh you mean Dustin, Barry and Robb” you heard your brother in the background
“Yeah them I’ll be working with them” you said
“Luck you, I think Barry likes you” Your sister cooed
“Oh shut up he doesn't” You said
“He watched you walk away last night” Your sister said
“Look Barry and I are just friends” You said
“What ever you say” Your sister said
“I have to go bye” You said hanging up

You walked back in side and looked around for Barry. You found Dustin instead.

“Hay D have you seen Barry” You asked
“Nah man I only seen Robb” Dustin said
“Okay no problems” You said
“Oh by the way Robb wants me to introduce you to everyone” Dustin said
“Okay then lets go” You said
“Well you know me and Barry and Robb, Grant and Jason” Dustin said walking away

You followed Dustin until he stopped in front of two guys who where busy looking at videos of a case you guessed.

“Hay dudes meet the new flesh” Dustin said
“And who is this” the guy with pinkie head phones said
“Nice pink head phones I’m _____” You said
“There not pink there red” the guy said
“Dude there pink two people have said that” the big guy said
“There red look I’m done arguing I’ll get my green ones” the head phone dude said
“Any way that is Dave Tango and Steve Gonsalves” Dustin said
“Nice to meet you so I guess you’re with tall and short” You giggled
“Yeah but around here we call them Jay and G” Steve smiled
“Okay well my brothers I have more people to meet so I’ll see ya around” You said
“Dustin you brain washed the new flesh” Steve said
“Nah dude she was like that already” Dustin said
“BROKEN PROPERTY” Dave yelled
“Dave shut up” You slapped him up the back of the head
“It’s Tango” Tango said
“Righto Tango” You say before walking off with Dustin

Yous walked in a room where 3 girls sat talking quietly until they seen Dustin.

“Hay Dustin” a red head said
“Hay Amy I have someone for you to meet” Dustin said
“We’ve already been told about _______ so hows things with Barry” Amy asked
“Barry’s my friend nothing more” You said picking up on what they where saying
“Right if you say so” said a blond
“Okay so the blond is Ashley and the brown is Brandy” Dustin said
“Okay then nice to meet you all” You said
“Come on 2 more people to meet and we can hang” Dustin said
“Let’s go” You said

Following Dustin you end up walking into some backroom that has been turned into a kitchen type area. In this area was two guys one who was Asian and the other could have been a little taller then Jason.

“Okay Joe and KJ this is ______” Dustin said
“Barry’s girlfriend” Joe said
“No just Barry’s friend” You said
“That’s not what we’ve heard” KJ said
“And what have you heard” You asked
“Robb told us that you and Barry have been getting close” Joe said
“Dustin how do you feel about killing Robb” You asked
“I’m up for it” Dustin smiled
