Brian and Michelle have been best friends since middle school. She was always the 'bad girl', partying, drinking, smoking, sleeping around, and living every day as if it were her last and just having fun. At twenty-three she still hasn't changed and sees no reason to. She doesn't believe in love, she doesn't believe in marriage, and can't fathom why anyone would want to stay with the same person for more than two weeks at most. Brian feels the exact same way. So the both of them live together, party together, and are the two closest people you will ever meet in your entire life. But they can't see what everyone else around them can: that they're absolutely perfect for one another. Bets are being made by close friends and family members about when they'll grow up and realize they're head over heels for one another. Luck is in the favor of their friends, it seems, because something is about to happen that will tip the scales in their favor and send both Brian and Michelle reeling.
