Keep the Faith

Body

It’s a body.

It’s all one huge body.

Each part of it living on its own, yet in harmony with every other part, forming organs and a healthy, alive body.

The brain (in this case, five men, five leaders) steers the actions of the body. It makes sure every part does what it was destined to do.
It makes sure every single atom in the body is okay.

Diseases are easily killed, the bond of the atoms being stronger than the bacteria. Of course, every once in a while, rumours and lies make the body catch a cold, but it leaves in no time.

But even the strongest bodies sometimes hit rock bottom.

Cancer cells enter, slowly killing all the regular cells. The body goes into defensive mode, using all its energy to kill the bad cells. But they’re too strong and multiply too quickly.

The body’s struggle dies down, it’s too worn out to continue its hopeless battle.

The cancer cells eat their way through the body, disabling everything.

The brain has to watch helplessly. It tries to reactivate the body, but it refuses to listen, overtaken by the awful disease.

Soon enough, the cancer cells reach the brain. It struggles in all its power, and as it’s stronger than the body itself, it lasts longer. The cells’ take over is being slowed down, but no rescue seems to be ahead.

The brain is nearly giving up, drained by the fight. As its body already entirely gave up, the brain does not see a point in keeping up the battle.

But right as it’s about to give up, new, healthy cells enter the body and hurry their way over to the brain.

The cancer cells take their teeth off the brain, turning to the new cells. They always enjoyed a rougher battle.

What the disease doesn’t know, is that these cells were defined, were made to battle evil cells like them.

After a long battle, the cancer cells’ power weakens and soon enough, the hero cells win the battle.

As they shove the dead cancer cells aside, they turn to the brain, making it possible for the five-pieced vital organ to read their bodies.
