Boyfriend's Ex Best Friend

Boyfriend's Ex Best Friend

The sequel to ‘He’s a Senior and I’m the Freaky Sophomore’

“Violet are you ready?” my mom called to me.
“Almost” I called down to her.
“Okay,” she said.
I was finishing my last minute packing for college. Two years passes quickly.
I look around my room for anything I forgot to pack.
I was going to miss my room, my siblings, my parents, my house, everything.
Everything that I needed seemed to be packed.
Nothing was forgotten.
“Dad!” I called to him.
“Yeah, honey?”
“Can you help me carry out my bags?”
“Sure, can you make sure Daniel and Kara’s bags are packed?”
“Sure,” I said as my dad entered my room.
I walked into Daniel and Kara’s room. They were on the floor playing with their blocks.
Daniel and Kara are my little brother and sister. My mom had twins.
They looked a lot like me. They have black hair and Daniel has purple eyes but Kara has grayish purple eyes. They are mostly gray. The only way to tell them a part is by looking at their eyes.
They just turned two a mouths ago.
I grabbed their bags and picked them put in my arm as I walked down stairs.
I gave Kara to my mom and I put Daniel in the baby carriage as my mom put Kara in.
I walked in the kitchen to get snacks.
My phone rang in back pocket.
“Hey lover,” I said.
“Hey babe, you ready for college?” Josh asked.
“No,” I laughed.
“It’s not that bad, I’ll visit you every chance I get,”
“Yeah, I know,”
“You’re going to the University of Florida right?”
“Yeah,”
“I can’t wait to see you again,”
“Same, but I got to go law student,”
“Love you,”
“Love you too,” I said as we both hung up.
I grabbed any left over bags and head out the door to the airport.
The five of us piled onto the first class plane.
The plane ride seemed to take forever.
I was so nervous about going to college. My parents told me it was just like high school but with more work.
That just got me more nervous.
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas told me that college was so much fun and nothing to worry about.
I listened to music as I bit my nails.
The girl next to me looked over at me. “You have really pretty eyes,” she said.
“Thank you,” I smiled at her.
“I’m Maxine,” she said holding out her hand. “But call me Max,”
“Violet,” I said shaking it.
“Like your eyes,”
“Yeah,” we laughed.
“Aren’t purple eyes, like, really rare?”
“Yeah, there are a few people that have them though,”
“So, you’re like five in a million,”
I laughed. “Something like that,”
“Where are you going?”
“University of Florida”
“Oh my gosh, me too! Freshman?”
“Yeah,”
“Sweet! I hope we live together,”
“Same, it would be nice to know one person,”
Max and I talked the whole ride to Florida.
When we got there we went our separate ways, but made sure to exchange numbers.
My dad helped me find all my stuff and we got in a taxi.
We drive to University of Florida which wasn’t that far away.
I felt the butterflies in my stomach and my palms started to sweat.
“Honey, relax,” my mom said as we pulled up in front of the University of Florida.
The taxi man helped us take out my bags.
I saw Max next to us doing the same thing. “Max!”
“Violet!” she said.
We ran up to each other and hugged.
“Mom, dad, this is Max,” I said introducing her.
“Nice to meet you Max,” my mom said smiling at her.
“Mom, dad, this is Violet,” she said introducing me.
“Nice to meet you,” her mom said.
It turns out that Max and I are living together.
After about an hour or so of getting settled in our parents lift to go to their hotel.
Our dorm was small, but not too small.
We would be sharing it with two other girls.
Max and I decided that we wanted to explore.
It was still light out side so we went out there to walk around.
The school was big and beautiful.
It was swarming with college students and parents.
Max and I were in the lounge looking around.
“Violet?”

Yay! The sequel is OUT!
