Show Me What Living Truly Means, Bill Kaulitz

CHAPTER 2 - I REFUSE TO USE THE PHRASE “READY SET GO”

June 4th - 12 noon

I woke up to the sound of bacon sizzling. It smelt like heaven. I let the aroma wake me, having it lure me with its loving embrace. I opened my eyes to find Daisy cooking it up along with a table full of groceries. She woke up at 10:30 in the morning to do food shopping. How does she just have off the wall energy like this?
I mean I’m energetic, but sometimes I think her mood swings give her a break once a week. Anyway, I began helping her out by making a batter for the waffle iron. Daisy finished up the bacon and the omelets. When we were done we just took our food to the balcony.

It was an unbelievable view and very nice outside for a summer afternoon.

“After we finish eating I thought we could go shopping for stuff to wear to the concert and a day of beauty treatment. My hair needs a deep washing anyways” said Daisy.

“Well it will be nice to get my nails painted, but shopping? It’s just one night Daisy.”

“Well when my parents leave me this kind of cash, I’m gonna enjoy it. The only reason they gave me so much was because you came for the month and don’t want us calling for money whenever we need it” Daisy pointed out the truth there.

Her parents was possible gonna be gone until the end of the month. If any longer they’ll send more cash. Well we finished eating, took ours turns in the shower and got dressed for a day of……well girl stuff I guess. She took me to this huge store where she gets most of her stuff from. All reasonable prices, well for us it is since we had 10 grand to spend. We each picked out five things we would possibly wear for the Tokio Hotel concert tonight. Daisy made me go first.

“You told me before you didn’t like your home right?” Daisy asked.

“Yeah, where are you getting at with this conversation Daisy?”

“Well…..you mentioned your dad and your step mother, but never your actual mom. Is she dead?” Daisy asked nervously.

“I don’t know. I lost contact with her two months after the divorce. I just know that she stayed in New York, but I don’t know where.”

It got really silent between us after that. I never talked to anyone about my mother because there isn’t much to say. I was nine; all I remember was staying with my great aunt Simone most of the time. I didn’t even know what a divorce was until it was finalized. When my father and I were driving to Delaware he only mentioned that it would kill him to make me choose. My guess was that I had to choose between them, but my mother didn’t want me for whatever reason. I don’t know, I shook the idea out of my head and stepped out with my outfits.

“It’s…….too bland. Try something else” Daisy said.

I stepped back into the changing room and tried on a few more things before the conversation started again.

“I didn’t mean to ask you something so personal. It’s just that I wonder about you because you never brought her up in conversations and I was…..” I cut Daisy off before she go to finish her sentence.

“It’s not your fault. I just don’t know what to say about her really. I don’t really remember anything about her. I just know I last saw her at the age of nine.”

I stepped out again in another outfits. Daisy liked it a lot. It actually fit my abnormal body type. I was skinny, yet curvy. And I had a big bust line with a blender waistline too….ok I have a fat ass, but I was never this full in that area until I went to college where my eating habits changed dangerously. Fast food is a devil in disguise.

Daisy tired on her outfits in the changing room.

“Did you like France better or do you like it here better?

“I actually miss France. I mean I want my accent back.” She laughed at the thought of still having, but that laughter dies down and turned into something serious.

“Let’s just say that, I was happier because it was different than it is now.”

I knew what she meant. Daisy’s family was super close. They always did things together, but then the jobs came, along with the huge paychecks. Thankfully we weren’t there too long. She liked her first choice. We paid for our stuff and headed to the salon spa. Daisy’s hair was extremely long for no reason, so she cut it down to the length of the neck. She’s only 5’6 so it was still kind of long.
She went for her natural hair color streak free, dirty blonde. She had the stylist give her loose curly locks. I have natural waves in my dark brown hair so I just had them wash it and do razor flips. We got matching honeybee yellow on our nails and left. We had only three hours left to get dressed and be at the Nokia Theater. Daisy is wearing a lavender halter top with torn light blue skinny jeans with black flats. She did black smoky eyes which made her hazel green eyes pop.

I just had on a long dark red shirt that stopped at my hips with shiny black leggings and some ankle boots. I just wore lips gloss and silver eye shadow. We got in Daisy’s car and drove theater. We showed our tickets and walked to our seats.

It was filled with Tokio Hotel fans. Daisy started screaming with the crowd when the light dim down. I recognized the beat playing through the speakers. It was “Humanoid”.

"Against the love
Against the faith
Against the sun
Against the night
Against the rules
Against the force
Against the wall
Against it all

Oh no…
I'm Humanoid (Oh Whoa oh)
I'm Humanoid (Oh Whoa oh)”

Everyone sang along with the songs. They were really good live. I was moving along with the rhythm of Gustav’s drums. I loved listening to the singer most of all. I felt the emotion of each song. It got deeper for me when he sang “Zoom Into Me”.

“When you can't breathe
I will be there
Zoom into me

Zoom into me
Zoom into me
When the world cuts your soul
Into pieces and you start to bleed
When you can't breathe
I will be there
Zoom into me.”

He sang the chorus again and he knelt down to me and reached his hand out to me. I looked at Daisy who pulled my hand towards his. He held on to my hand as he sang the chorus again. It just made me melt. Then he looked at me with those dreamy brown soul seeking eyes of his into my very own brown eyes. When the song was over he rubbed my hand with his thumb and smiled at me before returning to his stop next to Tom for the next song, “Live Every Second”.
From today all days are only half as long
Nothing left to love about
Yesterday is one million years ago
Day before already went down
Time's been replaced by a countdown
The sun is shining in the night
So here are words just think twice
Wake me up, cause time is running out,
Running out
Running out, running out

Live every second
Here and now
Don't let go
Live every second
Here and now
Don't let go
Before it's too late
Before it's too late

I couldn’t help, but smile with him as he sung that song. It amazed me how he in tunes his emotions to his song. It made me feel……random. I just couldn’t help but hop around with the Daisy and the other girl on the other side of me. After a few more rebellious songs like “Scream”, “Dogs Unleashed”, “Break Away”, and “Human Connect to Human” they took a 20 minute break. Daisy and I ran to the bathroom wear we saw like two other girls reapplying their makeup. Now that’s not the issue, the issue is makeup is supposed to enhance your natural beauty. These chicks looked like a sad clown painting gone increasingly wrong. One girl was like super skinny, like she made a super model look like a balloon compare to this girl. She had red hair like Lindsey Lohan all curled up like springs. She was wearing the shortest grey dress with thigh length boots. She looked like the everyday hooker. The other girl looked just as bad. She has freckles which is cute, but was a bit taller than the other girl. She kind of had Bill’s height u can say. She had short light brown hair, was wearing a bikini top with a shirt knotted up like in Britney Spears first video with a tiny skirts on with heels. The sad part is their 19 just like Daisy and I.

Yuck! I mean why they are dressed like that for a concert. It really ticked me off that guys fall for that shit. Anyways, we all returned to our seat and waited for the guitars to go off. The curtains separated and the band started playing the sounds of “Monsoon”, “Alien”, “Forever Now”, “Attention”, Down on You”, “Sex”, “Ready Set Go”, “Forgotten Children” and lastly “Scared”. When it was over we had our backstage session. Where we ran into the redhead and honey brown hair hookers. Apparently the passes allowed us and four other girls to have a mixer with the band. The green room was brightly lit and there were drinks along with some music some of us never heard before, but I liked it. Once the band walked in all eyes were on them.

I just sat on the couch with Daisy who was blushing a serious red. I walked away refill my drink. Tom was faster than the wind to take my seat next to Daisy. I saw her melt. I just stayed by the drink table so she can have her moment. I noticed George talking to these two girls; they looked like normal high school girls. Gustav was hanging with two more girls. One showing him a magic trick, the other just watching. Oh, the two hookers look alike, Tina the redhead, and Stella the honey brown head. They were surrounding poor Bill. He managed to slip himself free and our eyes met again. Those sparks came back again. I couldn’t help but feel sick seeing how he was walking towards me. I turned around facing the table trying to forget until I felt him tap my shoulder.
“Hallo, my name is Bill Kaulitz. What is your name?” he asked while pulling out his hand.
So many thoughts swam in my head.
Mainly the part where I kept telling myself to say my name. My mouth was felt dry, so I took a quick slip of my drink and shook his hand and smiled.

“I’m Sapphire Williams. You’re concert was great, but I have to be honest. I don’t know too much about your music.”

I didn’t want to lie to him. I just learned more of their existence last night and tonight. I thought he would have walked away. But he didn’t. He just gave me a smile.

“It’s not a problem for me Sapphire. I’m glad you enjoyed yourself though. May I ask you who gave you your name?” Bill asked.

“Um, my name. Well, I don’t know really.” I could help but giggle. I never giggle, scary.

“Well maybe I can teach you more of our band’s music. Our last show before or vacation was tonight so…we could……how do you say, paint the town red” said Bill.

He was trying so hard to hide his accent. It was adorable. I just smiled and nodded.

The song lyrics you see I don't own.
They are the sole poperty of Tokio Hotel & their record label. I only used the chorus of their songs & I will do that for every song I include in any of the stories.

Next chapter will skip towards the second week of Sapphire's month stay with Daisy. Daisy is of course into Tom & you will see a little bit of side details on tier relationship, but this story is based only around Bill Kaulitz & Sapphire.
