go around; 1. to pass from place to place, 2. to satisfy demand : fill the need.

Kennedy and Alex fell completely head-over-heels in love with each other. She left a mark on his heart that no one could replace and vice versa, unfortunately Kennedy left a bittersweet taste in Alex's mouth.
