welcome to the game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals here in Philadelphia.

Arabella was sitting in the stands next to the Toews family as she watched her boyfriend do warm ups on the ice. She was nervous about the whole playoff situation right now, if the Hawks lose then the game would go to game 7. The Hawks needed to win this game to end it right now. The Flyers were the comeback team of the playoffs so things were looking up for them right about now.

“I’m so nervous.” Andree said looking all excited to see this game. Arabella never saw a mom someone cheer so loud like how Mrs. Toews cheered. She just went crazy whenever Jonathan had the puck or if he was open. Mrs. Toews was your above average fan of her son and she was damn proud of it.

In the first period both Dustin Byfuglien scored as so did Scot Hartnell. This game was a battle and it had just started. In the second period three more guys scored Patrick Sharp, Andrew Ladd and Danny Briere. With the Hawks with lead things were looking up and the crowd was getting mad. Arabella knew she didn’t have to worry about getting attacked by any of the fans because Kris Versteeg’s dad carried golf picks in his socks. So when the third period came around Scot Hartnell scored again causing the whole arena erupting into a frenzy.

“Ara, the coaches want you.” Clint said at the end of the row of seats looking at her, waiting for her. Arabella didn’t know what was going on so she just followed Clint to wherever he was going. Apparently Coach Q wanted Arabella to talk if the game ever went into overtime. Which the game did as Niemi was making amazing saves keeping the dreams still reachable.

Jonathan was dripping with sweat and angry that they haven’t won the cup just yet, they were so close until they let Scot get that goal tying the game. Walking down the hallway he saw his girlfriend standing there in his jersey. He smiled that she was wearing a jersey that he wore instead of a bought jersey. Jonathan thought she looked amazing in her dark wash jeans and red heels.

As the guys piled into the locker room taking off their jerseys and resting waiting for the coach to make his speech. Every guy was tired and sore from the games but it didn’t matter as long as they won this game. Duncan Keith even lost 7 teeth but he still played not wanting to miss a thing. Much to all of their surprises the one to talk to them wasn’t Coach Q but really Arabella. It wasn’t going to be the first time of Arabella talking to them about their game.

“You have 20 minutes to make your dreams come true tonight. You have 20 minutes to end this series. 20 minutes to prove to your parents that those long car rides, cold hard arena seats, practices, backyard rings and sweaty gear was worth for something. It was worth to be a part of history. So right now someone is going to have to step up and be the hero of the moment. I don’t know who the person is going to be but they aren’t going to do it alone. Of course the defense needs to be on it and not let any pucks pass, the offense is going to need to pass perfectly and every shot taken needs to be accurate. But I believe in you guys, because all you need is one goal.” Arabella said hoping that it was a good speech. She never knew what to say when she talked to the guys especially right now. Since she couldn’t relate to them because she never competed with a team before, it was always by herself so she could only count on herself.

“Plus the faster you end this game the faster we can party. Meaning Kaner the faster you can get girls and get drunk.” Arabella said smirking at the blonde boy who was now smiling ear to ear. Getting drunk and getting girls sounds perfect to Kaner right about now who was working his butt off.

After the speech Arabella gave the guys had 10 more minutes to get it together, discuss some plans and rest up for overtime. They weren’t sure how long this was going to last but they wanted to prepare for everything. They wanted to be ready for anything that was going to come their way in the next 20 minutes. Finally when they stepped on to the ice and the minutes pasted. With an iffy goal by Kaner 4 minutes into the game he started to celebrate. From that moment Arabella knew the Hawks won.

THE CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS ARE YOUR NEW STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS

All the families couldn’t believe that they just witnessed history before their eyes as Jonathan Toews was handed the Stanley Cup after Kaner’s goal went under review. When he celebrated Arabella knew that as a player he would know if the puck made it in or not. Soon Arabella found herself in the flow of the families as they made their way down to the arena to celebrate on enemy turf.

Jonathan Toews couldn’t believe that he went to accept the Conn Smythe Trophy and the Stanley Cup in the same day. He was just on a new high totally different than when he won a gold medal with Canada. Jonathan skated towards the edge of the ice where his family and girlfriend was going to walk down. First he saw his family come up and hug him and Arabella standing in the back. It was like she was giving him time with his family.

Arabella stood in the background as her boyfriend and family took pictures. She knew how special it was for the Toews family and wanted them to have their moment with Jonathan. Arabella was always fine with standing in the back when Jonathan hung out with his family since he barely saw them. She couldn’t help but think its so cute how proud everyone was him. Andree was just bouncing off the walls.

“Good job Wolverine.” Arabella said as Jonathan skated over to her with open arms. His family went off talking to other guys so now it was just him and his girlfriend. Throughout the whole playoffs Arabella called Jonathan; Wolverine. When he had his long hair in March she called him; Prince Eric.

“Thanks, babe.” Jonathan said putting his forehead against hers. He could hear the camera guys clicking their cameras like chronics but he didn’t care. Arabella was still pretty short since the skates made Jonathan taller than usually even when she wore heels. Jonathan leaned a little more and kissed her causing all of the guys to ‘awww’ around them.

Then everyone came around the couple with a can of beer and a flip camera. Kaner held a bottle of beer without the label since it was going to end up on television. He handed Arabella the bottle as the guys started to chant “chug, chug, chug.” She rolled her eyes at how childish they were acting and how drunk Kaner seemed already. Bringing the bottle to her lips she just started to chug the beer no matter how much she didn’t like it.

After the party in the locker room and Arabella revealing a tank top under neath Jonathan’s jersey the whole team headed back to Chicago. Her tank top read ‘Chicago Blackhawks 2009-2010 Stanley Cup Champions’ she had Martin design her the top so she could wear it. On the plane ride home Arabella was the only non-blackhawk person on the plane. Of course it was nothing but an insane party as the guys recalled their thoughts as Kaner started to celebrate.

As days went on and Jonathan’s friends started to fly down, one of them was Jenn. It wasn’t like Arabella could say anything about Jenn so she just sucked it up. And as the parties continued Arabella was drifting towards the back. Jonathan almost acted shameful of his girlfriend and how different she was from his friends. They were you average Canadians who ate meat, played hockey and drank beer. When they would hang out with Arabella she always felt out of place.

“How’s you and Jonathan?” Abby asked both her and Arabella were getting ready at Patrick’s place since she was mad at Jonathan. Lately they’ve been having some problems at it just seemed Jonathan didn’t care.

“I have no idea where we stand.” Arabella said making the smokey make up on her eyes making them pop. Arabella was tired to not knowing what to do with Jonathan. Everyone told her that their relationship was going to be tested during the playoffs but not after the playoffs. This was when they were supposed to have time off together.

“I hope everything works out because it’ll be awkward for the wedding.” Abby said looking forward to her wedding that was going to happen next month. She planned to have Arabella and Jonathan walk down the aisle together since they were apart of the bride and groom’s party.

“You’re not the only one.” Arabella said finishing up the touches on her make up. She was done with everything and looked over in the mirror one last time before they left for a club. Arabella was wearing a sequin dress, silver shoes and carried a black clutch.

“Damn, I might not let you out of this house.” Sharpie said looking at his fiancee as Arabella just rolled her eyes at how cute they were acting. Seriously it made her puke especially now since things were rocky with Jonathan. Making her way to the car Arabella felt nervous for tonight.

Jonathan knew that how he was treating Arabella was wrong but he couldn’t help it. He wanted his friends to like Arabella and right now she just wasn’t fitting in. But tonight he and the team were going to go out and party. So it wouldn’t only be Jonathan, his friends, Jenn and Arabella but the whole team. This way Arabella wouldn’t feel weird or out of place. Walking into the club the first think Jonathan noticed was how dressed up the girls looked.

The whole night was complied as Arabella and Jonathan avoiding each other. She was fed up with him and he was just ashamed of her. So she happily danced with Kaner, Burish and some other guys. Arabella was hurting majorly on the inside of how Jonathan was treating her. But she didn’t let it show.

Jenn was smirking over how well her plan was going. Jonathan was ignoring his girlfriend and she was ignoring him as well. Sooner than later Jonathan would break up with Arabella and then he would come running to her. Getting a little impatient Jenn decided to speed up the process of her whole plan.

As the Hawks group got smaller everyone was heading home Arabella planned on staying with Kaner instead of Jonathan. She even got a ride to Jon’s apartment with Kaner. He knew what was going on between them and he was getting pissed off with Jonathan by the second. Kaner couldn’t understand how he would just toss a girl like Arabella on the side like that. Just because his hometown friends didn’t like her when they didn’t even get to know her.

“I’ll wait down here.” Kaner said sitting in one of the chairs in the lobby as Ara went up to go and grab some extra clothes. Jonathan and Jenn left the party earlier than them so Ara figured they would be sleeping by then. Opening the apartment door it was pitch black with only the T.V of a source of light. Turning on the light switch she saw how fast Jenn and Jonathan jumped away from each other on the couch.

“I’m just here to grab my things.” Arabella said hurt knowing exactly what Jonathan and Jenn were doing; kissing. She got out of the apartment so fast Jonathan didn’t have a chance to say anything to her once he realized she knew. He just didn’t know what to say.

“That was fast.” Kaner slurred as Arabella stalked past him and into the night. She hailed a taxi and got in. He knew that she was mad but he didn’t know what she was mad at. Figuring she got in a fight with Jonathan; Kaner didn’t push anything but just fell asleep in the cab.

That night Arabella had to decide. Was she going to let Jonathan cheat on her and pretend like nothing was wrong, like a perfect French lady? Or was she going to dump his sorry ass?

-So the next chapter of this story shall be the last chapter of the whole story. I know I'm sad to end it so soon but there will be a sequel. but it won't happen for awhile, maybe a couple of weeks so I can finish up my other stories. Okay, maybe not a couple of weeks but a couple of days, we'll see.
-Truthfully I liked this chapter in some odd way. Maybe not the content in the chapter but how it was written even though some parts were a little rushed. And I wasn't to sure about Arabella's speech to the guys, what did you think? I had to add in the whole 'one goal' thing x)
& too bad the guys couldn't come away with the win tonight against the Stars.
