Sequel: Better Than Revenge

Smile

4. Sunday
“Let’s take a cab.” Kaner told me as we were leaving my apartment. We just finished the meeting and we decided to meet at my apartment.

“Are you sure this is a good idea?” I asked him waiting for the elevator.

“Come on you can trust me Tazer.” Kaner said with a smile that told me something else. It wasn’t that I couldn’t trust him but it was the fact that he was notorious for clubbing with a bunch of girls.

“Dude, stop thinking about this girl!” Kaner shouted at me while we were in the elevator causing me to flinch.

“Okay, okay!” I said putting my hands out in defense. It was 11 and only now were we going to go clubbing because thats when everyone is drunk enough so that if they do yell out who we are most people would laugh and continue on drinking.

“Taxi!” Fred yelled out holding his hand out waiting for a taxi to pull in. Fred was the doorman of my building.

“Thanks man.” I said giving him a tip and getting in the taxi. Whenever the driver would see Kaner’s face they would freak out for a bit remembering about how he beat up a cabbie driver. But that happened so long ago and he grew up.

----------------------------------------------------

“I have no idea what to wear!” I shouted to Sam standing in nothing but my bra and underwear. It wasn’t weird when I was like this with Same because well he wasn’t straight.

“Oh, girl you never know what to wear. I’m surprised how you can daily dress yourself.” He said walking into my room going through my closet.

“Shut up.” I said rolling my eyes and flopping down on my bed with a sigh.

“You really need to stop sighing!” Sam said turning around and looking at me with a glare.

“Fine.” I said sitting up.

“Here wear this, and really if you liked Lover Boy that much then you shouldn’t have agreed to this bet!” He said before walking out of my room and into his own.

He was right, here I was sighing because Jonathan was leaving for 2 weeks and I’ll never get to see him again. In fact he didn’t even know my last name so somehow finding me was going to impossible. I looked at the clothes that Sam picked out and it was a white tank top, leggings, and heels. It was a simple yet decent outfit. For makeup I wasn’t going to lie and say that I only used mascara and lip gloss. I wear mascara, eye shadow, concealer, and lipstick. I made my eyes into smokey eyes and my lipstick was a light pink.

“I’m ready.” I said walking out of my room to see Sam eating away.

“You look beautiful as always.” Sam said leading me out of the apartment and down the hall to the elevator.

“We have class tomorrow so we have to be out by 11:30 tonight.” Sam said looking at his watch. I just nodded my head agreeing with him.

We arrived at the club around 9 and met our friends who managed to get us into the VIP area. The group that I always go clubbing with was Emma, Dean, Sam, Alice, Derek, Gabby, and sometimes Rachel.

“Let’s get this started.” Emma yelled dragging me to the dance floor along with the rest of the girls.

“What time are you guys leaving?” She yelled as Dean made his way over to Emma.

“11:30.” I shouted back as some guy came from behind to dance with me. He was pretty cute and all so I just continued to dance with him.

I danced with the same guy the whole night, he told me his name was Sean and I told him my name was Brianna. I would never tell a guy that I went clubbing with my real name incase he was some kind of creeper. And I could tell that Sean wasn’t his real name either because I had to call him three times and he finally figured out he was Sean.

“We have to go.” Alice said yelling at me.

“I have to go.” I said to Sean. He just nodded his head and turned to find another girl. Alice grabbed my hand dragged me out to street.

----------------------------------------------------

“Dude, just loosen up.” Kaner said shaking his head at me while heading into the club.

“Hold the cab.” A girl said running off to the cab with a blonde girl in tow.

“Sorry.” She said as she accidentally hit me with her shoulder.

“It’s okay.” I said turning around and saw that it was Arabella that hit me by mistake. But by the time that it clicked in my head she was in the cab looking at me.

“That was her.” I said pointing to Kaner as we watched the cab drive away.

“Who?” He asked with a confused face.

“The girl I met at the art gallery.” I said as the cab took a left and disappeared out of sight.

“Dude you totally missed your chance.” He said shaking his head before walking into the club. I just shook my head this night was supposed to help me forget Arabella not run into her.
