The Second Chance
The New Beginning
I felt young again. No arthritis pains or muscle aches.
Looking down at my body I notice I was young again.
Smiling I look at my surroundings.
I was on an old swing, high in the clouds.
Focusing so much on my surroundings I jump in shock when something grabs my hand.
Turning my eyes widened at the person next to me.
“Hello Melissa.”
His familiar deep voice echoed around me.
With tears gathering in my eyes I rush into his arms.
“Oh Adam. I missed you so much,” I whisper into his neck.
He held me closer, “I’ve missed you too.”
“Is this our second chance?”
“No,” he laughed, “this is our new beginning.”
"If you love somebody, let them go. If they return, they were always yours. If they don't, they never were."

This was kind of hard... since my gram doctored her own medication and was stubborn and had arthritis...But I like the story, so there.
