The Beast and The Harlot = ?

Part 58

Cynthia's POV

Oh my God.

This couldn't be happening.

Brian cannot tell Matt what happened.

That can just not happen.

"Brian, you can't tell Matt." I whispered.

"I have to. Zacky and Jimmy already know. And if I don't tell him, they will. I'm manning up." He
said.

And they wonder why I love him so much.

"Fine. But I'm standing with you." I said firmly.

Brian looked at me, probably about to argue but I pulled him until we were five feet from the guys.

I laced my fingers through his and waited until he said something.

"I, uh, have something to tell you. And it's not easy. You're not gonna like it." Brian said.

I gave his hand an encouraging squeeze.

"Its cool, dude. Just say it." Matt said with a smile.

"I, uh, I made a huge mistake. The worst one I could ever make. I, I betrayed Cynthia. I cheated
on her, with Michelle." I said.

There was utter silence and that scared me more then the yelling that was about to happen.

Then, Matt started laughing.

I looked at him in bewilderment.

This is definitely not the reaction I was expecting.

"That's hilarious, Brian. Now what's the real problem?" Matt asked.

Brian stayed silent.

As each second passed by, Matt's face grew darker and darker.

"You no good piece of shit!" Matt yelled, stepping forward. I was about to get in front of Brian,
but he pushed me behind his back.

"Matt stop!" I cried.

"No Cynthia! He cheated on you! With Michelle of all people!" He yelled.

"Its none of your business, Matt!" I yelled.

"You are my business." He boomed.

Matt grabbed Brian around the collar, and Brian didn't even fight it.

"Matt let him go!" I yelled.

"Babe, stop. I deserve it." Brian said.

"Maaaaaaaaaatt!" I screamed as loud and as long as I could.

Everyone looked at me in shock and Matt even let go of Brian.

I stepped next to Brian and wrapped my arms around him.

"Brian cheated on me, okay! Are you happy?! I have gotten past it. I have forgiven Brian and
now I'm happier then ever. That is all that matters. If you all can't accept that, then get used to not seeing me. Cause I'm not going anywhere without Brian." I said firmly.

I turned to Brian and his mouth was opened wide.

I gave him a kiss and pulled him to my car.

"Lets go home, babe." I said with a smile.

Brian only nodded and got in, not saying a word.

I know he's in pain.

He's known the guys for a long time.

For them to turn their backs on him, was the ultimate punishment.

It was the last thing he wanted.

"It's gonna be okay, honey." I murmured softly.

Brian didn't say anything.

I grabbed his hand, and pulled it into my lap.

I laced my fingers with his again, and kissed each knuckle as we made our way home.

Brian's POV

I can't believe all of this happened.

Just a few hours ago, we were drinking and laughing like old times.

Now everythings fucked up again.

But I think I'm the the most surprised at Cynthia.

She defended me against my best friends.

Guys she sees as brothers, even though she knows I'm in the wrong.

I'm still speechless and I don't know what the guys are gonna do.

They're stubborn and they hate doing anything that might hurt Cynthia.

But they might not be able to stomach me this time.

I had fucked up in the worst way.

I'm the only one to blame, the only one responsible for my actions.

I have to deal with the consequences now.

At least I'm not dealing with them alone.

Cynthia is with me.

She's all I need.

"How long do you thing it will be until they cave?" Cynthia asked as she plopped onto the couch
next to me.

I chuckled a bit cause she knew them too well.

"At least a week." I said.

"Hmm , I give it two days and they'll be back." Cynthia said with a laugh.

"Babe, you can't blame them for being mad." I said quietly.

"I don't blame them for being mad. I blame them for the way they reacted. It was totally
unnecessary. I've forgiven you, that's all that matters. And I love you." Cynthia said.

She came closer and snuggled into my chest.

She's amazing to say the least.

I still don't know how I got so lucky.

I'm glad she's sticking it out with me.

There isn't anyone I'd rather be with then her.

"I love you." She murmured against my neck.

I smiled and wrapped my arm around her.

She was enough.

More than enough.

"I love you too." I said with a smile, believing each word with every fiber in my body.

She smiled and leaned up and gave me a kiss.

I leaned back and held her close.

She's definitely more then enough.
