Lies and Broken Smiles

Music plays the speakers are aimed at the pool where many people are, I'm inside hiding.
I'm surrounded by junk food and all I wanna do is stuff my face.
Alice is trying to force me out to the pool when I see Jess.

"You invited Jessica?!" I growl

"Well yea she is your sister."

"I want to get away from her she's driving me nuts." I whine

"Sorry, just avoid her, I'm sure she'll leave you alone."

"Yea right." I roll my eyes.

Jess has been on my ass about my eating why can't she leave me alone.

"Cali!" Jess calls out running over to me.

"Huh?" I say and turn around.

"Let's get something to eat, I'm starving."

"Jess stop it." I say "Just stop it."

"Stop what Cali?" She ask

"You know what I'm talking about and I'm not gonna talk about it here." I say as I turn around and walk out to where Alice is and sit by the pool with her watching people have fun in the pool.

"Lets go in." Alice says taking my hand I think about it for a minute, I have my long shirt so okay

We both rush in and create a huge splash. I can't swim though and panic before Alice drags me to the side of the pool.

"Don't worry nothings gonna happen to you." She smiles

I then spot Dante.

"Dante!" I yell rushing to the steps of the pool and dragging myself out.

"Hey." He smiles I'm about to hug him before I remember I'm soaking.

He laughs seeing this.

"Come in and swim."

"I didn't bring any clothes."

"You suck." I pout

"Sorry." He says.
He then blushes.

"Whats wrong?" I ask

"I um... I was wondering if you wanna go out sometime."

"I'd love to." I smile happy
