I’ve known him all my life, Raine thought as she kissed him.
He’s the only person who has ever cared enough about me to be my friend, she thought as he pulled her closer to him.

Raine has always felt that George Weasley was the only person who has ever cared for her. At Hogwarts, he accepted her without question. She was truly a Gryffindor at heart and in fact, but her family of dedicated Death Eaters believe her to be a blood traitor and a disgrace to the Verion family name. So they stuck her with the last name of her mother, Skye, the only other blood traitor in the family.
