The Musso's and Me
Next Morning
She was asleep and I hated to wake her but if mom found out I’d be dead.
“J” I whispered shaking her shoulder. She opened her eyes “You have to go back to your room if they find out I’m in trouble” she nodded and I got up with her.
“Did you sleep well?” she nodded “I’m sorry” “It’s okay, you best get back,” I laughed and she smiled too.
The first time she’d really smiled since I saw her last summer. She hugged me and kissed my cheek “Thanks Mason” and she crept out the door.

“Morning” I smiled as I walked in the kitchen and they all nodded back. “Did you sleep well dear?” asked mom as J walked in “Yeah.”
“Must be having the boys around to take your mind of things” “Yeah, must be” she smiled and sat down next to me.
