Hanru Sazuki

Hanru Sazuki Volume One Chapter One: Hanru (2008-2009 End of Summer/Spring)

Hanru Narrating: My name is Hanru Sazuki. All my life I've been waiting for my calling in life. My life has always felt like an unfinished puzzle: You've worked hard in putting it together; you slowly begin to recognize the outcome as you progress. Most are afraid to finish the puzzle of life. They see the shape of their achievement. They believe they possess the knowledge of the outcome to the puzzle of life. They no longer continue to complete it; they simply... Live unfinished... I will complete the puzzle of life. I will be one of the few who has experienced the outcome of a completed puzzle... The outcome of a completed life.

[Volume One]

Hanru Narrating: Of course you know of my name; Hanru Sazuki. But I'm gonna tell you a little about myself. I am 15 years old, I have short black hair. I also have brown eyes; nothing special about that. I have a gift. It's not like a super power or anything, but I've learned to understand other people and their reactions to certain situations. Anyone can do this, but many do not know of it. I don't usually smile and I don't usually like to laugh. Well... Most of the time. I never show emotion, but that doesn't mean I'm depressed all the time, I act like I'm in a normal mood when others are around. I don't care about most things, yet... I care about everything. I have multiple personalities that share the same consciousness pretty much. I enjoy being alone most of the time. I hate the public. I hate going out and being surrounded by strangers who judge you on appearance rather then who you are as a person. I feel sorry for my future wife. That is if I ever have one. I hate being in relationships. I don't quite understand them. But from what I here, they're complicated. I do have a girlfriend, but I don't really have a connection with her. I'm not sure if she can see that. I don't have very good social skills. I'm a loner trapped in a shell. I try to come out and enjoy the rest of the world, but I just can't. I try to fit in, but people only consider me weird. Whatever. I don't care anymore. Lately I've lost my ability to connect with other people in any way. I see someone upset about something, I'll feel sorry for them, but only for a few seconds. After that my feelings change and I care nothing about them or their problems. Even though I have many problems and I fake socialism, what I like about myself is how I'm different from everyone else. I like being different. Different is good. Even though I show no emotion I have many problems. I keep all of them bottled up inside. I slowly try to conquer them little at a time. But no progress so far. I've decided to conquer one problem before I move on to the next. Now, I will focus on one not so difficult. I wish to find my way in life. I have no idea what I want in my life. Everyday I wake up, go to school, play video games, watch movies, and sleep. I need to know what my purpose is. I need to find my destiny.

[Hanru's kitchen]

(Right now, Hanru is his kitchen eating cereal. He is sitting at a big round table. His uncle, Leo, sits down in the chair across from Him and looks at the back of the cereal box while he eats as well. The kitchen is silent. All that can be heard are the sounds of cereal being crunched by the jaws of Leo. Hanru is eating slowly and quietly.)

Hanru: (Thinking) It's always like this. It's always silent. My uncle Leo has a dream; that dream is to become one of the greatest detectives ever. My uncle does his best to accomplish this goal. He trains his mind 24/7 and he's always in his work. Some say he's mean. I don't think so... Kinda. One thing that most people think is odd is that I'm white and my uncle's black. I wish I could ask my parents about that. But I don't know them. At least I think I don't.

(Leo is African American and he is bald. He works out a lot and likes to stay in shape so his body is pretty built. He has low patients and he seems grumpy most of the time.)

Hanru: (Says to Leo with slight hesitation) So... Uncle. How's work?

Leo: What?!

Hanru: I said...

Leo: No, no, I know what you said. I just don't understand why you would ask me that.

Hanru: I-I-I'm sorry; I was just trying to stir up a conversation.

Leo: Well hey, next time don't; you suck at it! (Calms down) How many times do I have to tell you? I love my job, my job is my life.

Hanru: (Whispers to self) Too bad your social life isn't the same.

Leo: What was that?!

Hanru: Nothing... Nothing.

Leo: (Stares suspiciously at Hanru the whole conversation) I know you, nephew. I even know your schedule. (Looks at his watch) It's 10 after 6, shouldn't you get going?

Hanru: What do you mean, school doesn't start till eight?

Leo: Yeah, but for the past week in a half I've been following you. You leave early every morning to walk to school. You told me you like getting to school early, but I knew that was a lie from the beginning. Every morning you go around the corner to that girl Tsuki's house.

Hanru: Wait a minute. How do you know her name?

Leo: I looked her up in the database down at the station. Do you know about her criminal record?

Hanru: Okay... (Being sarcastic) That's not creepy at all. Not to mention invasion of privacy. I mean I can understand why you followed me; you're just keeping your cop skills sharp, but I mean Tsuki shouldn't get involved.

Leo: Well I need to know who my nephew's dating.

Hanru: Dating?

Leo: You better get going, before she yells at you for being late.

(Hanru leaves his house and he is now walking down the street.)

Hanru: (Thinking) I love walking. I've always wanted to travel the world. I guess I just like slow adventures. I am sarcastic a lot of the time, and I tend to make stupid jokes when I'm nervous sometimes. I get nervous more than the average person, but that's just because I have a hard time dealing with most situations. It falls into the category of not lack of social skills.

(Ming Lee is the neighbor of Hanru. She is in her front yard watering her grass and flowers. Ming Lee is a happy and joyful old lady, who's never in a bad mood. She is also the grandmother of Hanru's friend, Lee. Ming's Puddle dog, Roxy, is running around the yard. Her yard has a fence around it. Roxy gives Hanru a friendly bark. Ming Lee turns to look at who Roxy's barking at.)

Ming lee: (Big smile) Oh, hello, Hanru.

Hanru: (Stops at the gate) Hello, Ms. Ming. Beautiful morning, isn't it?

Minglee: Ah, yes, yes it is Beautiful. I wish every moment of everyday was morning.

Hanru: wouldn't that get boring after awhile. I mean looking up and seeing the same sky day after day. But then again, you're never bored. You're always happy no matter what the situation is.

Minglee: Well of course, silly. Happiness is like a key: Use it to open the door to peace.

Hanru: (Thinking) I don't understand her one bit.

Minglee: You understand, don't you?

Hanru: Uh... Sure.

Minglee: Ah, such a smart child. You always get my riddles. (Smiles)

Hanru: Uh... Yeah. (Thinking) She can't possibly be talking about me. I'm no smarted than a goldfish.)

[5 minutes later]

(When Hanru gets to Tsuki's house around the corner, he rings the doorbell and Tsuki lets him inside the house. Hanru sits down on the couch in the living room and Tsuki walks away toward the kitchen. Hanru then stops her. Tsuki is a teenage girl who's a bit older that Hanru. She is a bit mean to people and rude, but people still like her. She has short brown hair. She is in her pink star PJ's now.)

Hanru: (Chuckles a little) Oh hey, Tsuki. I have to tell you something. You're gonna laugh your butt off.

Tsuki: Well hey, I love my butt, It's nice and firm. And it's sexy. So maybe you shouldn't tell me. Instead you should let me go into the kitchen and have breakfast. Sound fun?

Hanru: Come on. Don't be like that. Just listen to what I have to say.

Tsuki: (Takes deep breath) Fine, tell me.

Hanru: My uncle thinks we're dating.

Tsuki: (Begins to grin) What? Really? He thinks you and I are going out? (Begins to laugh really hard and runs into the kitchen laughing) Yeah, like you would ever have a chance with me! (Continues to laugh silently in the kitchen.)

Hanru: (Thinking) Tsuki, The sister of my true girlfriend. She always knew how to insult you by saying nothing. It knew she was insulting me when she began laughing. Judging by her attitude, I'm beginning to wonder if she has any friends other than me. Well we're kinda friends.

(Tsuki's sister, Holly, comes into the living room where Hanru is. She has a big smile on her face. Holly has long blond hair but she always keeps it in a ponytail. She has a very bright and charming personality.)

Holly: Hanru! My loving boyfriend.

Hanru: (Stand up and walks over to Holly) You look pretty, Holly. Same as everyday.

Holly: Aw, you're so cute.

(Holly tries to kiss Hanru but He slickly hugs Holly . He lets go after a few seconds. They then hold each other's hands.)

Holly: (Tempting) So... We should go in my room and talk for awhile.

Hanru: Alright that's fine with me. Talking is fun.

Holly: (Small laugh) Alright, We can ''just talk.''

Hanru: (Thinking) She sounds tempting. I don't think she want's to just talk. Should I say something? Maybe I should go with her in the room. If she tries anything, I'll just insist we leave.

[School]

(A few hours later, Hanru is sitting at a big table with his friend, Mamimi, in the cafeteria. It is lunch time at his school right now. Hanru's other friend, Lee, runs over to Hanru and Mamimi. Lee has short white hair and he is a hyper teenage boy who's always cracking dirty jokes. Mamimi always acts like something is on her mind. She's quiet most of the time. When she's not quiete and she's actually happy, she seems nervous. She has short black hair.)

Lee: Hey, you guys. (Sits down in the chair across from Hanru and Mamimi.) I've just discovered something amazing.

Mamimi: (Joking) What you finally grew an inch?

Lee: Well... Yeah, but that's not what I'm here for. You know Casey Harris, right?

Hanru: You mean the guy who bullies us every minute of everyday while we're at school? He's the toughest guy at this school, not to mention the greatest quarterback ever. who wouldn't know him?

Lee: I found out why he's so down today. Why he's sad and not a jerk.

Hanru: You know, I haven't really noticed. What's wrong with him?

Mamimi: Wait, don't tell me yet. If it's something personal, I don't want to hear it.

Lee: Well, Mamimi. As a matter of fact, it is personal. So You should probably leave.

Mamimi: No, maybe I'll stay. I have to work on controlling my habit.

Lee: You should leave anyway; I'm sick of looking at your face. (Mimi sticks her tongue out at him) I can think of at least five things you can do with that.

Mimi: Ew, gross! (Stands up) Hey, while you spread gossip I'm headed to the snack bar. You guys want anything?

Lee: Get me a blueberry slushy.

Hanru: I'm good.

Mimi: I shall return. (Walks away)

Hanru: (Thinking) Mamimi is an honest person. She doesn't like hearing gossip. At least that's what she tells us. she'd rather go to the source and find out the truth of something before she spreads the word. Which ,by the way, can sometimes be hard when different people are involved and each of them have a different story to tell. She use to spread rumors all the time, but she's trying hard to stop her habits.)

Lee: So like I was saying. Apparently Casey's uncle was involved in an accident. A very tragic accident.

Hanru: So what... like a death? What kind of "tragic accident"?

Lee: It's something more like... Dying. His uncle was at the wrong place at the wrong time. At least that's what I heard.

Hanru: Casey may be the biggest jerk in school, but I should probably help him out.

Lee: (Gets a bit wiled up) ... Wait, what? Help him? No, don't help him. Have you forgotten how mean he is to us? No good can come from helping him, man.

Hanru: Well you never know, Lee. If I help him out, he may change the way he treats us.

Lee: (Takes a deep breath and calms down a bit) So how do you plan to help him out? I don't think your uncle would want to get involved with this; he's way too busy.

Hanru: I know he is. That's why I'm gonna do it myself.

Lee: Do what?

Hanru: Be a detective, try to figure out what happened.

Lee: There's no way, man. Detectives actually have forensics and technology and stuff. You have nothing. There's no way you can figure out what happened.

Hanru: I guess we'll never know unless we try. Look I know this seems crazy, but I need this. I'm sick of waiting for my destiny to find me, I'm going to find my destiny.

Lee: What gave you the idea to play detective?

Hanru: My life is boring. I'm always surrounded by detective stuff, so maybe this is my calling in life: Being a detective. I have to at least try it out.

Lee: I guess... But you know I disapprove of this.

[The bell rings]

Hanru: I'll meet you in class, alright?

Lee: Fine. But careful, alright? I mean... What if you do find out what happened? What if someone was trying to kill his uncle? If you find out who he is he's gonna come after you. Be careful, man. That's all I ask. You're dealing with a real killer here.

Hanru: I'll be fine, Lee. I have too much to live for. I'm not going anywhere for awhile. (Thinking) At least I hope not.

Lee: Good. So I guess I'll see you in class. I'll tell Mr. Malitz you're gonna be late. not that it would matter.

Hanru: I'll just get lunch detention. Go ahead to class.

Lee: Alright. (Walks away)

Hanru: (Thinking) Lee always cared about others. He sometimes expresses it in weird ways, but deep down he really cares. I can see it in his eyes. He wants me to help Casey, even though the two of them don't get along. He's worried I might get hurt. I could say that Mamimi and Lee are true friends. Those are hard to come by.

(5 minutes later the late-bell rings and everyone's in class. Casey is in the cafeteria sitting at a table alone crying. Hanru and Casey are the only two in the cafeteria. Hanru sits down in the chair across from Casey at the same table.)

Hanru: Hey, Casey.

Casey: (Crying) What do you want? What, did you come to make fun of me because I'm crying? Big surprise: The big bad quarterback has feelings.

Hanru: Listen, you make fun of me majority of the time I'm at school. I just shake it off. I don't hold grudges against you, alright? I would never turn your feelings against you by telling the whole school about you letting your feelings out.

Casey: (Sniffs) Well then... why are you here?

Hanru: I'm here cause I want to help you. (Gives unused napkin to Casey from table) I heard about what happened to your uncle. Well... sort of.

Casey: (Wipes eyes) How much do you know?

Hanru: Just that he's in the hospital on his dying bed. I heard he's dying, so I just assume he's in the hospital. I've also heard he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Listen, you can trust me. Tell me everything that happened.

Casey: Well...

(The entrance door opens and a teacher walks in.)

Mr. Carter: Hey, what are you two doing in here? You're suppose to be in class.

Hanru: We have lunch detention. It's all good.

Mr. Carter: It's all good. That's what she said. (Carter and Hanru chuckle) But seriously, if you have campus cleanup you should probably get to work. I know it sucks but hey, It's one of life's many lessons.

Hanru: Thank you for that wisdom, Mr. Carter.

Carter: Yeah, well I'm gonna go get some chow. You two should get started.

Hanru: We will.

Carter: Peace, kittens. (Walks away)

Hanru: (Thinking) Carter is one of the best teachers at this school. He usually says a joke, but he didn't this time. I wonder why. (Talks to Casey) So, Casey. You were saying?

Casey: I was telling you about my uncle.

Hanru: Yeah, so continue. Or... Start.

Casey: Listen you have to promise not to tell anyone about what I'm gonna tell you.

Hanru: I'm not a big fan of making promises, but you can trust me. just tell me what happened.

Casey: Well here's what I know. My uncle, he's a big time business man but... Illegally. He... Sells drugs. He never told me how he would communicate with his costumers. He never used phones nor Internet. One thing I could never figure out was how he would communicate with these people and get so much money. But anyway, he was doing an exchange with someone. In the process he was shot in the chest. His heart was damaged. it's gonna give out at any moment now. I'm sorry, but that's all I know right now. Please don't tell anyone. I only told you because I heard you were a good listener and I... I needed to talk to. Someone who understands my pain.

Hanru: (Thinking) A few months ago, my uncle Leo was shot, while trying to catch a murderer. When I was informed of it, I, of course, was upset.I tried to deny it and cover it up with anger. Casey walked up to me that day and he started teasing me. I yelled at him and told him what happened to my uncle. I was holding in my true feelings deep inside my heart. When I yelled at him, I was yelling at Casey out of depression and anger. I later realized that I wasn't yelling at him. Truly I was yelling at myself for not accepting my true feelings. That was before my feelings for others disappeared.

Casey: I feel a lot better now that I had a chance to talk about it with someone. (Smiles) Thank you.

Hanru: No problem, Casey. So should we clean up the cafeteria, or go to class?

Casey: I can't let anyone see me like this. I'm suppose to be the toughest guy in school. how many tough guys do you know cry?

Hanru: Alright, listen to me, Casey. One of the rules to being a tough guy is to be honest. A real tough guy is not afraid to be himself in front of other people. Obviously, you're not yourself around the people you try to impress, which means, you're not a tough guy. Face the truth, Casey: You're not.

Casey: What would everyone think of me if I told them the truth?

Hanru: Who cares what they think about you? If you tell everyone the truth about you pretending to be tough, your true friends will be reveled. The people who accept you for being you, those are your friends.

Casey: And what if no one wants to be my friend, did you ever think about that?

Hanru: Then I'll be your friend.

Casey: I... I guess. I mean you're kinda weird. I'll have to think about this.

(Mr. Carter walks back into the room with Hanru and Casey. Carter walks up to them.)

Carter: (Says with teacher threatening voice) So you lied to me. You weren't cleaning up, you two were just goofing off! (Talks in normal voice) I'm kidding. I thinks it's a really good thing what you did, Hanru, and I honestly have to say my heart is touched. Not in a gay way, but it was touched. Here listen, I'll tell your teacher you were with me, alright? I'll be your excuse for being late. And if your teacher doesn't like it, he can suck it. No I'm kidding. (The three of them laugh for a few seconds) Alright, let's go, kittens. Let's roll, butthole.

(Minutes later, Hanru is in his History class. There is a sub today so the class has free time. Hanru is sitting in his seat talking to the people around him. The students around him are, Johnathan, (Behind and over one to left)) McKayla, (Behind) Matt (Behind and over two left), Richard, (Right) Dante, (Behind and over and over one right) and Teen girl (Left).

Hanru: Hey, Johnathan, you go to raves right?

Johnathan: Yeah why? You looking to score some cocaine? Cause I can hook you up.

Hanru: No actually. I was thinking about going to one.

McKayla: Oh yes, Hanru, you would never go to a rave.

Dante: I know; you're probably too chicken.

Hanru: Well maybe I'll overcome my... Chicken-ess.

McKayla: Whatever.

Hanru: (Thinking) McKayla: She's so hot with her blond hair and soothing voice. It's too bad she's mean. We wouldn't work out anyway.

McKayla: What are you drawing on my arm, Johnathan?

(McKayla jerks her arm away from Johnathan.)

Kayla: Really, John? Did you really draw a penis on my arm?

John: It's my logo; It's a sign of affection. Would you rather me draw a vagina on your arm?

Kayla: No I don't want you to draw a vagina on me.

John: At least let me finish the penis.

Kayla: No. My boyfriend's gonna be pissed if he sees this.

John: Then let me turn it into a fuzzy bunny at least.

Kayla: Fuzzy?

John: Yeah I made little hairs on...

Kayla: Ew, no I don't want to know!

Dante: You two need to get married already and get it over with.

John: What do you say, McKayla? Would you take my hand in holy matrimony?

Kayla: Ew no.

(Everyone laughs)

John: Way to go and break my heart, McKayla.

Kaley: (Sarcastic) Aw poor baby.

Richard: (Chuckles) I would be afraid to go to Johnathan's wedding. His wedding bells would probably be balls or something. (Everyone laughs) His cake would probably be in the shape of a penis.

Johnathan: And the cake would have extra white frosting.

(Everyone laugh except for Johnathan and Hanru for a few seconds.)

Hanru: Anyway... How much do you know about raves, Johnathan?

Johnathan: A lot of drug dealers go there. On the news, some guy got capped in an alley. I actually knew that guy. He use to sell me pot.

Hanru: Tell me more about this... Pot dealer.

(After school Hanru, Mamimi, and Lee, meet up at the track field.)

Lee: So what was so important? Why did you want us to meet you here?

Hanru: I think I might know where Casey's uncle went for his "business". Where do most drug dealers go to do business?

Lee: The restroom?

Hanru: No, I mean professionally.

Lee: Want me to make another guess?

Hanru: No!

Lee: Fine. So where?

Hanru: A Rave. I asked to see if I could get an address. I actually got a few addresses.

Mamimi: You told us to meet you here, just to tell us this? What are you even talking about, you don't do drugs?

Hanru: Right, I forgot only Lee knows about what I'm doing. Well come with me, and I'll tell you what's going on.

Mamimi: Alright, I guess.

Hanru: Great.

Lee: So you're going to these Raves?

Hanru: Well, not the Rave itself, but the Rave buildings. I heard there's gonna be a Rave tomorrow night, so people should be setting things up. I'm going at around 5:00 today. are you two in?

Lee: Of course we're in, man.

[Police Station]

(Leo is at the police station, talking to his friend, Ada, at her desk. Ada is Leo's co-worker. She is Chinese and she has short black hair. She has a very charming personality and most people consider her hot or beautiful. She is friendly and she likes to joke around a lot. She's always happy and sometimes her personality is that of a child's. Ada is sitting on Leo's desk, while Leo is sitting on his chair.)

Ada: You know you should really get a personal life. When I say that I mean go out, date, you know?

Leo: No thanks. I keep my mind on my work 24/7. There's no time for meaningless things such as dating.

Ada: Dating can be fun sometimes, you know. You need fun in your life.

Leo: Well I hate to have fun. I'd rather work. Working keeps the criminals locked up where they belong.

Ada: So you never do anything fun?

Leo: That's right.

Ada: (Teasing) I bet you're still a virgin.

Leo: No I'm not a virgin, I just don't do it often cause I don't have the time.

Ada: You have the time. (Giggles) Anyway, how's Hanru?

Leo: Great actually. He finally has a girlfriend.

Ada: Yeah I know. Her name's Holly, right?

Leo: (A little confused) Holly?

Ada: Yeah.

Leo: No I'm talking about her older sister, Tsuki.

Ada: Tsuki answers the door all the time, but she isn't dating Hanru. Ask him.

Leo: (Stammering) No, no, I believe you.

Ada: It looks to me like you're overworking your brain. It's starting to fry.

(Sergeant Giovanni walks up to Leo and Ada. Adam Giovanni is a nice person and he is an honest cop.)

Giovanni: Leo, You're on a new case.

Leo: What new case?

Giovanni: (Hands Leo the case file) A man was killed in a car accident. Do to a background check, we have reason to believe it was a homicide. You, Ada, and detective Justin have been chosen to investigate.

Leo: Yes, sir, Sergeant.

(Hanru, Mamimi, and Lee are driving on the street known as Central, in Mamimi's black SUV. Mamimi is driving, Hanru's on the passenger's side, and Lee is in the back seat bored.)

Mamimi: (Frustrated) I have no Idea where we are. We've been searching for half an hour and we still haven't found this club.

Hanru: Hey, Mamimi. Pull over right here.

Mamimi: Oh no. You're not gonna get me to stop just so you can talk to some hooker.

Hanru: I think the word is prostitute. But anyway, I think prostitutes usually hang out in the same area where they do business majority of the time. If the club is around here somewhere, it's possible she may know where it is.

Mamimi: Fine.

(Mamimi pulls over to the side of the road and next to the prostitute. Hanru rolls his window down. The prostitute's name is Meukie. Meukie is Japanese but she looks more Caucasian. She has short pink hair. When she's not pretending to be sexy, she's really sensitive, cute, charming, and really nice. Right now, she's trying to be sexy.)

Hanru: Hey, how are you today?

Meukie: I'm good, baby. How bout you?

Hanru: I'm... Alright I guess.

Lee: (Rolls window down and says with excitement) I'm not alright. Do you think you can cum over here and cheer me up?

Hanru: Ignore him. May I ask what your name is?

Meukie: Meukie's my "Street name."

Hanru: Tell me something, Meukie: Do you know of any clubs around here, raves, anything?

Meukie: I know of one. But if you want the information out of me, you're gonna have to do something for me.

Lee: I would do anything to you.

Meukie: What?

Lee: I would do anything for you. Tell us what to do and we'll do it.

Meukie: Well, you see. I kinda owe this guy some money, and he's looking for me. He's pretty violent so I'm afraid to approach him.

Hanru: Do you know why he's so violent?

Meukie: (Her sensitive side slowly comes out) Well, I told him I didn't have enough money to pay him, so he freaked out and started yelling violently at me. I got scared so I ran away. I Never talked to him since.

Hanru: Why would you pay him? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Meukie: Well, he was my pimp. I was expected to bring back over $200 in one day. I didn't quite make it over $200. This was about 2 months ago. He's still looking for me. I know a lot of gossip the way I travel these streets.

Hanru: Okay. we'll pay your pimp the $200.

Meukie:Ex-pimp.

Hanru: Right, Ex-pimp. Now tell us about the club.

Meukie: The club around here, is underground. A lot of people don't know that. One of the shops here on Central is actually the entrance.

Hanru: (Thinking) So it has to be a shop with low surveillance. The owners would die if the police had a reason to search the shop.

Meukie: (Sexy side begins to come back out) Hey, I'll make you a deal. Come back here in about an hour. I'll have the information on the shop, and I'm sure I can get you access inside, once I find it.

Hanru: Great. I'm Hanru by the way, and these are my friends, Lee and Mimi.

Meukie: Well hello, Lee and Mimi. I guess I'll see the three of you in an hour?

Hanru: Sure thing. We'll be here.

(Meukie walks away and Mamimi drives off.)

Lee: Do you really think we can pay her "Ex-pimp"?

Hanru: We have to; she's afraid. We have to pay so she wont have to run anymore.

Mamimi: I think she decided to help us so that way when she tells us the location of the club, we'll have to repay her right away. The $200 is what she wants us to pay when we meet her in an hour.

Lee: Well we're not ATM machines, we can't just give away $200.

Hanru: (Shrugs) Well.

Lee: (Joking) Hey, Mamimi, should we drive back and ask her if there's an opening for you?

Mamimi: (Angry) Shut up, Lee.

Lee: I'm just kidding.

[Crime scene]

(Leo, Ada and Detective. Dr. Mr. Sir. Justin are at the crime scene. Leo's looking around at every angle of the crime scene silently and Justin and Ada are standing by the car watching Leo. The crime scene is in front of a home. Justin is a young detective who's attitude is that of a teenager. He has long blond hair and he is a cool person. Justin always has earphone in his ear most of the time.)

Justin: (Bored) It's been 2 hours already. Does he always take this long?

Ada: Once he was looking around a crime scene for over 8 hours.

Justin: You can do that?

Ada: (Shrugs) I guess so.

Justin: So why are we just chillin' back here; why not help him out?

Ada: He likes to solve crimes himself most of the time. You'll get use to it after awhile. How long have you been with our department?

Justin: Like... Not even a week. I would say about five days. Yeah, about five days.

Leo: I think I've got it!

Justin: About time.

(Leo walks over to Ada and Justin with a case file in his hand.)

Leo: Look closely at the picture. This is a one way street. Judging by the way the car was hit, the SUV had to have come out from one of these houses on the side of the road, that's this house right here; the one right in front of us. Most people would say that the SUV was backing out too quickly and hit the car while it was driving. I looked in this yard and I noticed a spot of oil in the gravel here in the yard. The tire tracks of the SUV are just a few inches away from the oil spot. So it's clear that the SUV was facing the car when it rammed it. The residence around here all said the same thing. They said they looked outside as soon as they heard the crash. They clearly stated that the SUV was nowhere to be found after the crash accrued. The only way the SUV could be gone so fast is if the driver was planning to hit the other vehicle and drive off. We know now that this was murder. Now all we have to do is find out who the victim had a vendetta with.

Justin: I have no idea what you just said.

Ada: A car was driving on the road in front of the house in front of us. The SUV that was in the driveway pulled forward and crashed into the car when it was about to pass the driveway. The SUV drove off as soon as it hit the car. The man in the car was killed by the impact.

Justin: That's all you had to say, Leo man.

(An hour has now passed. Hanru, Lee and Mamimi are at the exact same spot where they meet Meukie. Meukie walks up to the vehicle that they are in. Right now her nervous and sensitive side is out.)

Meukie: I've got some info on your spot. The barbershop is where you wanna go.

Lee: That makes sense, right? I mean nothing bad ever happens in barbershops. Unless you're getting a haircut from my uncle.

Hanru: Are you absolutely sure about this, Meukie?

Meukie: I'm sure.

Hanru: Are you alright?

Meukie: (Smiles and chuckles while she lies) Of course, why wouldn't I be?

Hanru: You don't seem as happy as you did earlier. Are you sure you're alright?

Meukie: I was just... Thinking about some stuff, that's all.

Lee: Me?

Meukie: No.

Hanru: What kind of stuff?

Meukie: It's no big deal really.

Hanru: I'm curious to know. tell me.

Meukie: ... I saw an accident today. I just hope the man in the car wasn't too badly injured.

Hanru: You're not the average prostitute, I have to admit. You're like an ordinary person. You're not trying to be sexy, or turn us on. I like that.

Lee: I don't.

Meukie: Well thank you, Hanru; I really appreciate that. But you know most prostitutes are ordinary people. They're just struggling you know?

Hanru: Right, sorry. Oh by the way, it's gonna take some time to get you your money.

Meukie: What? Oh right, the money. Listen, you don't have to pay me back. My Ex-pimp likes to hold grudges. Even if you did pay him, It still wouldn't solve anything.

Hanru: Well I have to repay you somehow.

Meukie: Saying you liked me for not trying to be sexy was enough for me. (Smiles as Hanru)

Mamimi: Why are you so nervous? Is something wrong?

Meukie: No it's just that... This was the first time in a while that someone's actually wanted to talk to me instead of just wanting my body. I miss the feeling of having real conversations.

Mamimi: Why do you choose this line of work? Don't you have an education?

Meukie: Um... Maybe you should get going. I'm sure you have more important things to do. It was nice talking to you. (Walks away)

(Hanru, Lee and Mamimi go into the barbershop minutes later and walk up to the owner. The owner has a serious attitude. He has a nice haircut and he is considered sexy by most. He has one small white earring in his left ear. He is Chinese and he has nice tan-colored skin. He is Chinese but he mostly looks American. The owner is cutting someone's hair, when Hanru and friends walk up to him.)

Owner: Meukie send you?

Hanru: Yeah. Are you the owner?

Owner: That's what my name tag implies. Meet me in the back. I'll be there shortly.

Lee: The back?

Owner: Behind those curtains.

Lee: Gotcha.

(The three go to the back and see a barber cutting someone's hair.)

Lee: Wow, that's a pretty nice haircut.

Mamimi: Maybe the two of you should get yours cut here.

Lee: What? How about you get yours cut?

Mamimi: I'm the only one with normal hair out of the three of us. I have long brown hair, Hanru has short spiky hair. And you have white hair.

Lee: Hey I have Lee Chaolan hair. It's a rare hair style and it's handsome. (Rubs fingers through hair)

Hanru: Yeah not to mention Shiny. What do you put in your hair, man?

Lee: It's a secret.

(2 minutes later ,the three are in the underground rave club. The owner lead them to it's secret entrance. They walk up to the DJ. The DJ has long blackish-brown hair and he wears glasses.)

Hanru: Excuse me. We were just wondering if we could ask you some questions?

Kyle: You don't look like a cop to me.

Hanru: True, I'm not a cop, but still. I'm just trying to help my friend out. His uncle was attacked. He's dying right now as we speak. I just want to find out what happened to him, that's all. Please just answer a few questions, please.

Kyle: Fine, I'm a nice guy and I would like to help you out.

Hanru: Thank you, Mr...

Kyle: My name's Kyle KnowsHisGun, but you can call me DJ Loops.

Mamimi: KnowsHisGun: that's your last name?

Kyle: I don't think that was one of the questions you wanted to ask me.

Mamimi: Right, sorry.

Hanru: During raves, do you see anybody making any drug deals?

Kyle: Where do you get off asking me something like that? I don't know, dude.

Hanru: Right, I can't just ask a question like that. Sorry. I'll put it this way. Have you ever seen any strange activity going on during ''party nights''?

Kyle: It's against the rules to tell of what goes on around here. I'll tell you this one thing, then you leave.

Hanru: It's better than nothing.

Kyle: A man comes in here a lot. He wears one of those fancy suits and always has a suitcase with him. He sits at the bar and looks around. He orders a drink but he never drinks it. Now and then he might take a little sip, but that's it. He sits through one song. Once it's over he starts talking to different people. Then they disappear. He shows up again later on.

Hanru: What did this man look like? Can you give us any details?

Mamimi: Rejected.

Kyle: I play a lot of loud music; my hearing's bad. Sorry, I can't hear you. (Walks away)

Lee: You think it's Casey's uncle?

Hanru: It might be. But I have to make sure. We can't just make assumptions.

Mamimi: So what should we do?

Hanru: I have an idea. Come on, let's go.

(Hanru and his friends leave the underground club. When they get back into the barbershop, they pass the curtains and see all of the employees standing around giving them mean looks. A big muscular guy stands at the front of the door. Hanru and his friends stop and look nervous.)

Hanru: (Thinking) Oh no. (Says out loud nervously) Hey, fellas! Quite a party you have here. All Asians. You know I'm Japanese; why wasn't I invited?

Owner: (Runs up towards Hanru, grabs his collar and slams him against the wall.) You think your real funny, don't you?

Hanru: No, no. I'm not trying to be.

Owner: (Slams his head against the wall.) For your information, everyone in here is Chinese. You are Japanese. That's why you weren't invited! Plus, I can smell a pig from a mile away.

Lee: Oh you're mom's here?

Hanru: I think that's your breath, buddy. You want some Spearmint?

Owner: (Slams Hanru's head again) Shut up! Who sent you? I have microphones all over this place; I heard everything. You come in here asking about the deals that go on around here. Tell me who sent you, right now!

Hanru: (Says with a sarcastic Cocky attitude) Oh gee, I seem to have bumped my head. I can't remember a thing.

Owner: (Pulls out a pocket knife) Now you will tell us who you're working for. Or you will get stuck right in the leg with this.

Hanru: (Says with cocky attitude) I don't think the pigs would take too kindly of that. I am working with the police, undercover. It you stab me, or one of my friends, the police will raid this place like roaches do that filthy dump you call a home. You will lose everything. Your business, your profit, your freedom. It would be a shame for that club to go to waist, all because you made the wrong decision.

Barber1: It's not worth it, boss. Put him down.

Barder2: You gonna lose everything, man. Over this chump.

Barber1: Let him go, man.

Barber3: Just let him go.

Owner: (releases Hanru's collar and takes a few steps back. Puts the knife away.) Alright. Tell me. What would it take to keep this little misunderstanding, hidden in a dark corner?

Hanru: I know how you gangsters work. I want you to leave Kyle alone. Give him a snitching pass this one time. And tell me about what goes on around here. The deals, the business. Everything that may seem like important information.

Owner: (Shrugs shoulders) Sounds reasonable. Every time someone gets their hustle on, I get 10 percent of the profit for providing the spot. I know all their names as well.

Hanru: Wait a minute, how many are there?

Owner: Different dealers come in to do they thing. But two are like your everyday providers. They go by the names of Ross and Jason. I checked 'em out personally to get their real names. I got skills when it comes to computers. Besides that. They go by different names for when they deal. Ross goes by the name Geller.

Lee: Like Ross Geller from Friends.

Owner: Exactly. Jason goes by the name of Petrelli.

Hanru: Petrelli, Petrelli, where have I heard that name before?

Owner: Look, that's all I know, alright? Now I have a business to run, do you mind?

Hanru: Just one more question. Where can I find Petrelli?

Owner: I'm not his babysitter, I don't know.

Hanru: Right. Listen, I should have never came in here and asked one of your guys to snitch... I came in here and disrespected you in your place of business. I apologize for that. I am truly sorry.

Owner: It's all good. Just don't let it happen again.

Hanru: I think it's only fair I tell you why I'm here.

Owner: Yeah, I know why. Your friend's uncle is about to kick the bucket. And you're working for the cops to find out who did it.

Hanru: My friend's uncle, was Ross.

Owner: Geller?

Hanru: The man's dying right now. I don't think he would enjoy being called Geller. I don't think he was particularly proud of his career choice.

Owner: I can understand. (Whispers to self with emotion) Ross... (Talks normal to friends) Alright let 'em go. Let's get back to work.

Barber3: Hey, wait. If you work for the police, that means you're wired. The police know about our secret club now.

Owner: Good looking out. How could I have missed that? (Clenches knife in hand)

Hanru: (Gets nervous again) Alright so maybe I don't work for the police. But I'm just trying to help find my friend find out who shot his uncle.

Owner: If it wasn't Ross, we would be having a completely different discussion right now.
(Hanru looks at how sharp the owner's knife is.) Ross was like a buddy to me. (Puts knife away) I'll help you out, just cause you're trying to do the right thing.

Hanru: Thank you.

[In front of the police station]

(Leo and Ada are walking to Leo's car)

Leo: The victim's name was Charles Deveaux. He was a lawyer and plaintiff. The property we were investigating was owned by Mr. Deveaux. We need to speak to the plaintiff and defendant of this case.

Ada: What territory are we working with here?

Leo: Seems Mr. Deveaux was assaulted. Deveaux was resuming his weekly grocery shopping, when out of the blue, a man assaulted him. The man began to brutally beat on Deveaux with a pack of bread.

Ada: Good thing it was soft bread; The man could have been seriously hurt.

Leo: Ada, the man's dead. How about you at least pretend to care about the case and stop trying to make a stupid joke about it?!

Ada: You're right. I need to take this more seriously. What's the defendant's name.

Leo: Angelo Armejo.

Ada: We got an address? A phone number, anything?

Leo: We could be at his house in 10 minutes. You prepared to do this now?

Ada: Let's go.

Leo: Alright.

Ada: But one thing doesn't make since. Deveaux was passing his house when he was hit. If the SUV was waiting in Deveaux's driveway with the engine on with intentions to ram into Deveaux's car and kill him, how did he know Deveaux was gonna pass his own house whether than go into the driveway?

Leo: I didn't even think of that?

Ada: See I told you, Leo. You're trying too hard to be a good detective. Your brain is beginning to fry. You need to stop trying to force your mind to be great.

Leo: How about minding your own business, Ada? I'll be fine.

(When they get to the house, they ring the doorbell.)

Ada: I never knew one-story houses could look so beautiful. And the yard is unremarkable.

Leo: (Sarcastically) Yeah, a regular royal garden.

Ada: You need to be more positive. That's what you need to be.

Leo: Act professional.

Maid: (Opens the door) Hi.

Leo: Hello there. How are you today?

Maid: Busy, as always.

Leo: We completely understand and we hate to distract you from your work. But we were hoping your boss was present.

Maid: I'm afraid I have not seen him in days.

Leo: How many days?

Maid: About two or three.

Leo: So two in a half days?

Maid: That... Sounds about right.

Leo: How are you able to access the premises without him?

Maid: I have my own key. Just in case.

Leo: May we come in and do a little searching; try to find out where he may have gone? It's very urgent we speak with him.

Maid: Oh no problem. Come right in. Where I come from, it's good manners to let your guests enter first. (Walks out and holds the door open for Leo and Ada.)

Ada: Why thank you.

Leo: Thanks.

(Across the street, a black window-tinted SUV begins to burn rubber. The SUV turns toward Leo, Ada and the Maid while still burning rubber. The SUV then charges at them at full speed.)

Leo: Get in the house, now!

(Everyone gets inside the house and turns the corner. The SUV crashes through the house and stops in the middle of the living room. The driver gets out and points a machine gun at the three. Leo already has his gun ready and Ada is about to take out her's until she is interrupted. The man is wearing a burglar uniform and has a German accent.)

Burglar: (Stands in front of car and points Tommy gun at them.) Drop it! Now, now, now! Drop the gun!

Leo: Okay, okay. (Throws it to the side of the burglar.) There, I did what you said!

Burglar: You, Maid lady. Come with me. Mr. Angelo made a request for you.

Leo: (Says to maid) Don't worry, we'll figure something out.

Burglar: Hurry!

(The Maid gets into the back seat of the SUV. The burglar gets in the SUV and quickly drives away.)

[Hanru's home]

(Hanru has just entered his home. His brother, Lawrence, is sitting at the bottom of the stairs. Hanru passes by Lawrence.)

Lawrence: I was wondering where you might of gone. (Hanru walks back and faces Lawrence) That sweet-heart girlfriend of yours stopped by to give you a present.

Hanru: Did she leave it here?

Lawrence: No. She said she wanted to give it to you in person. You should call her, see what's up.

Hanru: Thanks for the message.

Lawrence: No problem, little brother.

Hanru: (Thinking) (My brother, Lawrence Watson, Sazuki. Me and him are really close. We may push each others buttons a lot. But we know the love will always be there. Lawrence is 22 years old. Most people would consider him to have a chilled personality. He's a pretty cool person. He most of the time sits around the house and watches T.V all day.

(Hanru goes into the freezer and pulls out a Popsicle. He closes the door, leans on the kitchen counter and takes a deep breath.)

Hanru: I should call her. (Moments later Hanru calls Holly's home phone number. Someone answers the phone.) Hey, sexy... Whatcha up to? (Other person talks) Oh my gosh! No, I'm sorry, sir. No I wasn't referring to your daughter as sexy, I was referring to... You, as sexy. (Other person talks.) If I told you I was gay, would you stop yelling? (Other person talks) Then gay I am... Sir. (Talks in gay accent) Your daughter and I were gonna discuss make-up... And various... Girl... Stuff. (Other person talks) Okay, I'll hold. (Says to self) Why did I make him believe I was gay? I should've been a man and told him the truth. I should of been like "look here, Mr. Holly's dad. I'm going out with your daughter. If you have a problem with it, I suggest you suck it up and accept it". That would've been a lot better then telling him I'm gay. (someone talks on the phone) You never got off the phone, did you? Okay, I'm gonna call back later. Have a nice day, mister. (Hangs up phone. A second later the phone rings. Hanru answers it right away.) Hello?

Owner: The next rave's tomorrow night. There's a good chance your man will be there.

Hanru: Petrelli?

Owner: Yup. Now I'm helping you out just this once. Don't get use to me helping you out, this is a onetime thing.

Hanru: How did you get my number?

Owner: I told you, I'm good with computers. I tracked you.

Hanru: It's only been like an hour. Boy do you work fast.

Owner: I told you, I got skills.

Hanru: Listen. I'm sure you know almost everything about me, even my name. I think it's only fair if I knew your name.

Owner: Just call me by my street name: LJ.

Hanru: Thanks for the assistance, LJ. (Both hang up)

(Someone rings the doorbell. Hanru answers it moments later. A young woman with short blond hair and a happy personality is at the door.)

Erika: Hey, what's shakin'?

Hanru: Erika. What are you doing here?

Erika: I was hoping your pops was home.

Hanru: He's not my pops, he's my uncle. (Thinking) Erika works in forensics down at the station where my uncle works. Erika's pretty cool. But we really don't know each other well.

Erika: Well when he comes back, do you mind giving him these for me? (Hands wrapped up tray of brownies to Hanru.)

Hanru: (Takes and looks at it.) Brownies?

Erika: Yep. I even added my own special recipe.

Hanru: I'm guessing it's the green stuff?

Erika: Yep. But shhh. Keep it on the DL.

Hanru: Okay let's be honest here. What makes you think my uncle's gonna eat this? He would probably arrest you for this.

Erika: Trust me, amigo. (Gets closer and whispers to Hanru.) Just set them on the kitchen counter.

Hanru: Okay...

Erika: I think I've overstayed my welcome. I better go. Peace, little man. (Walks away)

Hanru: (Thinking) I'm guessing these are for Lawrence. She's just pretending like these are for my uncle. She must be high herself. She's never acted that weird before.

(Hanru closes the door and locks it. He calls out to Lawrence.)

Hanru: Lawrence, something came for you!

Lawrence: (Yells from upstairs) My brownies?!

Hanru: (Walks to the bottom of the stairs) Where do you want me to put 'em!?

Lawrence: (Runs downstairs and snatches tray of brownies.) You better not have fiddled with them. Or you will be sorry.

Hanru: Not as sorry as you're gonna be once uncle catches you.

Lawrence: I better start getting rid of them then. (Runs to the top stair)

Hanru: Hey! Does the name Petrelli ring any bells.

Lawrence: Not that I know of. (Runs to his bedroom)

(Erika is in the driveway sitting in her car. She looks really depressed. She reaches into her glove compartment and pulls out a bottle of anti-depressant pills. She takes one with a small bottle of water in the cup holder. (10 Minutes later, Hanru sits down at his computer and goes to the internet.)

Hanru: (Thinking) What's with the internet? I can still access my Email account, but that's about it. One new message. (Reads the Email.) ''Hacked into your computer and disabled the internet. You're not a porn addict, you can live for one day without it. Lol.'' What's there to lol about? Aww, man. Can I...? Nope, I can't even reply. (Takes a deep breath)

(A day has passed. The Rave is about to start. Hanru, Mimi and Lee walk up to the front of the barber shop, where a body guard stands in the doorway.)

Body guard: What do you kids think you're doing?

Lee: We need to get in there, It's very important.

Body Guard: No toddlers allowed. Isn't it past your curfew? The three of you should be gettin' home before mommy starts to worry.

Lee: You think you're real funny, don't you? Well I don't think you'll be laughing once I shove my foot so deep in your butt, the ocean itself will be jealous.

Mimi: Oh my gosh, you did not just say that?

Lee: Sorry, I'm not very good at insults.

Body Guard: You wanna go, pipsqueak?

Meukie: (Runs up to them) Hey, hey, there's no need for violence. These three are with me. It's all good, Bruno. Everything's cool.

Bruno: You're lucky, chump. I would of mopped the floor with you if she wouldn't of showed up. They may be with you, Meukie, but they still gotta pay. Sorry.

Meukie: Aww, come on, Brunie. (Gets close to Bruno and starts sounding sexy) You remembered what I did for you, huh? You still owe me a favor.

Bruno: Just because I still owe you. (Tells Hanru and his friends) But this is the only free pass you're getting, so don't get use to it. (Hanru, Mimi and Lee, get excited.) Don't get all exited now. My boss specifically told me not to let any youngsters in tonight. If you get caught, my boss is gonna be all over me like a 2 dollar whore.

Meukie: Hey.

Bruno: No offense.

Meukie: Eh, non taken.

LJ: (walks up behind Bruno) Bruno. (Bruno looks at LJ) It's cool, let them in, joke's over.

Mamimi: A joke?

Hanru: We have some serious business to take care of and you want to joke?!

LJ: A, no need to yell. Where's your sense of humor?

Hanru: No need to yell? You hacked my computer and disabled my internet. I think that's a pretty good reason to yell!

LJ: Hey, you're right. And I'm sorry, okay? My bad. But you got bigger things to worry about. I told Bruno here not to let you in before Petrelli showed his face. We wait. I'll tell you who he is when he shows. I'm guessing you've never seen his face?

Hanru: Not once.

(A man pulls up in front of them and gets out of the car)

LJ: That's your man.

Hanru: I got a glimpse of his face, let's go. (Hanru Mimi and Lee walk into the shop)

Meukie: You do know you still owe me that favor right?

Bruno: Yeah. You should go now.

Meukie: (Walks away and gives Petrelli a sexy look when she says something to him) Hey, baby.

(A quick glimpse shows Mamimi running toward Meukie.)

Petrelli: You allow people like that to parade around in your club?

LJ: Money is money. No matter who it comes from, or its origin.

Petrelli: Money is money. Here. Park my car for me, would you?

LJ: I don't give free parking service I'm afraid. (Petrelli Gives LJ a 20) Much appreciated. I'll be sure to take good care of your car. You, go do your thing.

(Minutes later, when Petrelli is in the secret underground Club, he sits at the bar. People are dancing and the music is blasting. Kyle is DJing on stage.)

Bar tender woman: Sir?

Petrelli: Whatever's on tap.

(Bar tender woman walks away to get the drink. Hanru sits in the chair right next to Petrelli. He pretends to act like a junkie. Jason never smiles and he is serious most of the time. But he does have a type of kind personality to him.)

Hanru: How ya doing?!

Petrelli: I was doing just fine before you showed up. What do you want?

Hanru: I've noticed you around here a lot. Word on the street is you hold the best of the best. You know what I'm talkin' about?

Petrelli: (Bar tender lady hands him the drink and walks away) Thank you. I know exactly what you're talking about. But I don't sell until one song plays.

Hanru: (Begging) Ah, come on, man. I need this, man. A client is in need here.

Petrelli: Fine. Since you crave it so much, I'll help you out. When this next song is over, meet me in the stalls.

Hanru: Fine I guess waiting is the best way to go right now! You have yourself a deal my good man. (Both shake on it)

(Song Twilight Zone (Rave Version) Begins to play.)

(Hanru runs to the bathroom without Petrelli noticing. Lee is in the bathroom. Lee and Hanru are the only one's in there.)

Hanru: As soon as this song ends. That's when it's going down. I'm gonna need you to hide in one of the stalls. I'm gonna confront him about this. He might try to attack me. If he does, I'm gonna need you to jump him from behind. I doubt he'll be able to take the both of us.

Lee: That's a horrible plan. You are gonna get us killed, man.

Hanru: Not if your breath does it first.

Lee: Maybe I forgot to brush my teeth this morning, okay?

Hanru: Doubt it.

Lee: Whatever.

Hanru: Alright, let's rehearse this, so that we don't mess up when the time comes.

(The song goes off minutes later and Petrelli walks in. He closes the bathroom door and locks it. He looks strait ahead and sees Hanru standing at the opposite end of the bathroom giving him a serious stare.)

Petrelli: Let's get this over with. (Walks towards Hanru)

Hanru: (Hanru sticks his palm out, telling him to stop. Petrelli stops.) I'm gonna be strait up about this. I know who you are, Jason. I also know that you have some connection with the murder of Ross. You may know him by the street name he uses: Geller. I need information. Tell me what you know.

Petrelli: (Laughs) You're serious? (Laughs again) Are you working with the police?

Hanru: Wipe that grin off your face, right now! If I'm gonna get some serious answers, I want to see a serious face.

Petrelli: What a cocky little brat you are. Okay. I'm gonna stop beating around the bush. I killed him. Go tell the cops about my confession. I want them to know about my crime. I want to get arrested. I killed my own accomplice. My own friend. I don't deserve to walk the streets as I please.

Hanru: Why? Why'd you do it?

Petrelli: I had a plan all worked out. And it all started with him dying. So, what do you think about the bullet? Pretty clever, don't you think?

Hanru: What bullet?

Petrelli: The bullet. The bullet that I plunged into Geller's chest. How else would you have been able to find me so quickly?

Hanru: (Thinking) The bullet. How could I have missed it? I didn't even think about the bullet.

Petrelli: The bullet, is the key, to all of this. This crime. Even if I am arrested my plan will still be executed.

Hanru: Tell me your plan!

Petrelli: You seem like a pretty smart kid, figure it out. If you could get to me this quick, I'm sure you can figure this out.

Hanru: I'm just a 15 year old boy, I don't have much authority. I can't just get the bullet in the snap of a finger! Help me out here!

Petrelli: I'll tell you a few things, you probably need to know. I shot Geller in an alley while he was on the job. Doing a drug deal.

Hanru: What else? I know you know more. spill it.

Petrelli: The name Petrelli, is my last name. You have potential, kid. So I'll tell you what. You keep on investigating. Personally, I don't think you work for the police. Our encounter of this night shall never be spoken of. Not by me, not by you. I want you to figure out my plan and try to stop it. That's all I ask of you. I'm gonna go turn myself in now. This is also apart of my plan, to go to prison. Goodbye... I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name.

Hanru: You seem smart; figure it out.

Jason: (Smiles) I sense something special in you. I want to see if you can figure out my plan. But If I'm free, I might do something horrible to you. My original plan was to make a detective investigate, but you got involved instead. Now you're the test subject. (Laughs menacingly and walks away)

(Jason goes up to a cop on the street with a menacing smile.)

Jason: Excuse me, officer. May I speak to you with words of great importance? It involves the murder of Ross Geller.

(The police officer cracks a smile at Jason with a strait face.Later that night, Hanru goes into the hospital room where Ross and Casey are. Casey's crying on the bed and Ross has just died.)

Hanru: Casey?

Casey: (Crying) He's gone. He flat-lined. I guess his heart just couldn't take it.

Hanru: (Stands by Casey) I truly am sorry. I found your uncle Ross' killer. It was his partner. His name was Jason.

Casey: (Gets up and hugs Hanru) You did all you could. And I appreciate that. I say this with the deepest gratitude of my soul... Thank you.

Hanru: (Hugs him back with one arm. No emotion on his face.) Sorry I couldn't do more to help you, Casey.

(Hanru goes in his room and closes the door. He then goes into one of his drawers and pulls out a sword. A red katana. He looks at it and smiles for a few seconds. He begins to have a headache. He then quickly puts it back in the drawer. Hanru raises his shirt and looks at a very small scar that's on his chest for a few seconds.)

Hanru: (Thinking) Today was an interesting day. I meet face-to-face with a serial killer, I made a new friend. But I only did all this to help myself in a way.
