Preface: [The Not Too Distant Future]
I had never meant for it to end this way.
But then again, I had it coming, didn't I?
I was staring death right in the fucking face. Yet, I felt a sudden calm washing over me.
It'll all be over in just a few seconds.
Some would say he was at fault for all this happening. Others would admit this was all an accident.
Most would say that this never should have happened in the first place.
But it did.
And it's not his fault. And it was no an accident.
It's my fault.
And I have to pay for my mistakes.
Because you can't pick who you fall in love with.
