Barks and Bites
The sisters. Blaire and Blythe have been living alone in their house in the forest since their father passed away two years ago. Now, sixteen and seventeen respectively, they have been accepting whatever odd jobs they find in town and getting by on the little money they earn.
The hunters. Avery, Stephen and Mabel have been chasing him for weeks now. And even though they're the best hunters of their pack, this runaway proves to be a lot to handle. But they are determined, unrelenting and they'll stop at nothing to find him. When they stop in a quaint little town far south of their home, they think just might be on the right track.
The runaway. Julian was scared, bleeding from the dozen weals on his skin. They would scar him but the wounds would eventually heal. He already ran away once. He had no doubt that if they caught him again, they'd make sure he'd pay with his life.
He needed a place to hide and when he finds a little house deep in the forest, it seems like the perfect spot that no one would think to look.
And it turns out that he's terribly wrong.
