My First Kiss
Chapter 3
Justin stretched his arms out and laughed. Maybe his first kiss wasn’t the best, but he sure did remember it like it was yesterday.
“Hey Justin. What’s that huge smile on your face for?” Justin’s mother asked playfully. Pattie sat next to her son and ran her hand through his hair.
“Oh nothing,” Justin replied back while blushing. Pattie raised her eyebrows and made a weird noise in her throat. “Oh ok mom,” Justin said. “I was thinking about my first kiss.”
“Oooh!” Pattie exclaimed excitedly. “I remember it also.”
“What?” asked a perplexed Justin.
“Well of course I wouldn’t expect you to remember it, you were just a baby. It was the first time I held you in my arms and you were so precious. I gave you a kiss on the cheek and you smiled.” Pattie said while reflecting back on old times. She had a glint in her eyes.
“Mom, that’s not- Yeah,” Justin said while smiling widely.
“I know sweetie,” Pattie replied while wiping a tear away.
“You’re crazy mom, but I sure do love you that way,” Justin said while giving her hug.
