It Takes A Man

He's Determined

The passion began to take over as the two teenagers continued to kiss under the stars. His hands roaming her body freely as she let out a little moan every few seconds. Her hands slipped his shirt off & began to unbuckle his belt as his cock grew hard in his pants. His lips traced her neck as he moved slowly down her body. Pulling him up so there faces were directly in front of each others she simply nodded her head.

"Are you sure?" he whispered.

"I've never been more sure in my life." She stated as his hard cock filled her for the first time & it was too late for them to change their minds. Not putting on a condom was the first mistake as his cock gently moved in & out of her.

"Are you okay?" He asked making sure the girl he loved wasn't in too much pain. She nodded her head before closing her eyes as he continued. He could tell he was reaching his peak as his eyes closed & he let out slight moan. He was a fool & not pulling out was his second mistake.

----------------

You always think, that will never happen to me & then it does. He had barley just turned 18, they had there whole lives ahead of them. He was moving to Pittsburgh over the summer & she was attending college in the fall. They were prepared for the challenge that a long distance relationship brought. But the challenge of raising a child, not so much.

They sat in Sidney's El Camino, that his father had given him on his 16Th birthday. He was shocked when he received it, it was his dad's favorite car. Even though Sid was 2,143 miles away from home at Shattuck Saint Mary's in Minnesota his parents wouldn't dare miss his birthday.

It was silent as the rain spewed from the clouds like it was the first rainfall of spring. Sidney & Micale sat in her drive way looking out of the semi steamed up windows.

"I'm late" Micale said breaking the silence as a confused look crept a cross Sid's face. "& I'm scared she confessed. He knew exactly what she was talking about as he continued to stare out the window. "You can go if you want to, but I really hope you stay." She stated as she played with the hem of her, well Sidney's, old Rimouski Oceanic t-shirt. "Just so you know, I'm going to keep it regardless of what you decide." Micale informed him as his heart began to beat rapidly & a million thoughts ran through his head. Sidney gently placed he head full of dark curls on to the steering wheel as he let out a sigh. "I know it doesn't seem real." Micale continued to talk even though she was getting no feedback from Sid. He quietly lifted his head as he took in the sight of the girl he loved as the tears began to fall from her eyes. "Don't hate me for loving you" She said. Sidney didn't know what to say, he was confused & shocked. He couldn't put three words together so he reached over & gently took her hand. I tiny smile began to pull at the edge of her lips as more tears began to flow. Sidney wrapped his arms around her & let his tears fall too.

Sidney hadn't realized he drifted off till he felt something tickle his nose & the sound of his name being whispered repeatedly. Opening his eyes he was shocked to be looking up into the bright blue eyes of his girlfriend.

"Micale?" Sid asked unable to believe that she was literally standing in front of him. He hadn't seen her for 8 months & he was supposed to be flying out to Minnesota in about 2 weeks so he could be there for the birth of there baby boy.

"Yes." She simply said as she sat down next to him nuzzling her face into his neck as she inhaled the smell of his cologne. He wanted to be with her for the whole pregnancy but after being drafted to the Penguins & moving out to Pittsburgh it was hard for him. He had practice almost every morning & he'd beg her every night to move to the city with him but she had different plans.

"What are you doing here?" He asked as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes before placing his hand on her pregnant belly & lightly kissing the top of her head.

"Casey was driving out this way." She stated, Casey was her best friend who also attended Shattuck St. Mary's but she was there for the arts program. "We drove half way yesterday & the rest of the way today." She explained. She had kept it a secret from him. "I just really wanted to see you."

"I'm glad your here." he said as a smile took over his face. "I've missed you."

"I've missed you too." She said before they fell into a comfortable silence. Her left hand laced with his right as it rested lightly on her tummy. Sidney couldn't help but notice how bare her ring finger looked. Causing his mind to drift else where.

"Let's get married." Sidney suggested as they sat side by side on her tiny twin bed. In his mind it was the right thing to do, he knew he wasn't supposed to have sex before marriage. Getting married because she was pregnant seemed like a logical thing to do.

"Sid." Micale started to speak as she looked directly into his hazel eyes. "Just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean we have to get married." She explained, she didn't want him to propose because he had to, but because he wanted to.

"I know." He replied "but I love you & I kind of believed that we were going to get married the day that I met you." He explained making her smile uncontrollably. A shy smile crept a cross his face as he began to play with the ring finger on her left hand.

"I don't know Sid." She said biting her lip, it had only been a week since they had found out about the pregnancy & he didn't want to put too much pressure on her to make a decision so they left it at that.

"Are you okay?" Micale asked pulling him from his day dream. Sid hadn't noticed she was talking to him til she ran her free hand through his curly hair.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I've got you & our little boy." He said gesturing towards her tummy. "What else would I need?" He asked before smiling & gently leaning down to place his lips on hers. The kiss quickly heated up leading to a little foreplay & on to what created the little man inside of her.

"I'm hungry" Micale said after laying in Sid's arms for a moment. "What do you have to eat?" She asked with a smile on her face.

"Your welcome to look." He said as she got up & headed towards the kitchen in nothing but one of his button down shirts. He couldn't help but think how sexy she looked & he was tempted to drag her back to bed for another round. But instead he got up & slipped boxers on before walking into the kitchen. "What did you spill?" He asked noticing the water on the floor as she put the top piece of bread on her sandwich.

"Sid, I didn't spill anything." She stated with a worried expression on her face. "I think my water broke." Going into labor at 8 months was unexpected but it happened. After 8 hours of 'you did this to me' & 'I hate you' they placed the 6 lbs baby boy into her weak arms. Sidney hadn't realized how bringing a life into the world was such a miracle until that moment. A single tear rolled down his cheek, their baby was beautiful. His tiny hands were clenched into fists as his tongue licked his tiny lips. "I think the baby & I should have the same last name." Micale said after a moment of silence as she looked up at Sidney through the tears of joy.

"Okay." Sid said simply, he wasn't going to argue. "Elliot it is." He agreed to the baby keeping her last name.

"No" She stopped him from continuing "Crosby" She explained.

"What?" Sidney asked, completely shocked & confused at what she meant by her last comment.

"I know it took 8 months to get back to you but if the offer is still valid." She trailed off. A million thoughts were running through his mind, just like the day she told him she was pregnant.

"Uhm, 4 more minutes." he replied jokingly as he looked at his watch making her burst with laughter. He loved seeing her smile. "So were engaged?" Sid asked after a moment of deep thought.

"Yeah." She said smiling, "I don't want to put any pressure on you but how soon do you want to have kids?" She asked as they both cracked a smile & let out a little chuckle before the room grew silent. Sidney took in the glow that was radiating off of his fiance as she held their new born baby. Standing there he couldn't help but remember the only advice that his father had given him when he found out Micale was pregnant 'Any fool can make a baby, but it takes a man to raise a child.' & Sidney was determined to be a man.
