Home, Sweet, Home
We were arriving at my house.
"Didn't you say your house was an hour away and in total we've been walking about two hours." Kyle asked.
"Well, is that it WAS an hour away running, not walking." I replied.
"That explains your good looks." He said with a smirk. I blushed and giggled. Since we started walking he's been complimenting me nonstop and I've giggled and blushed as much as my tanned skin allowed.
We finally arrived and I took the key from its hiding place, its annoying carrying it around as a wolf. I opened the door and we entered.
"This is a very awesome house."
"Feel free to look around."
He went into the living-room and let out a long whistle when he saw my Native-American knives collection.
"Those are awesome. Where did you get them?" Kyle said while admiring my collection.
"I go hiking around a lot and in my hikes I found them."
"How long have you been hiking? You have over a hundred knives."
"Over ten years." I started collecting the knives when I became a werewolf.
"Wow."
"I'm going to make lunch. You must be starved." I said while heading to the kitchen.
"Sure. I could eat a whole cow right about now." He replied while staring trough the windows towards the forest.
"There is a beach a mile or so over there, I found it on one of my hiking trips." I went into the kitchen and found all the ingredients to make a fettuccine alfredo. I went to culinary school for 3 years, so I know how to cook. I started cooking and placed the table. While the pasta cooked I went to find him.
He was next to the pool looking absentminded, he was thinking about something.
"A dollar for your thoughts?" I said. He came out of his trance.
"Well I was thinking how incredibly lucky I was that you found me. I probably would have died in a couple of weeks maybe. You are awesome Leah and you have a sexy mysteriousness about you. There is something familiar about you that I just can't put my finger to."
"Oh, that's odd, I've never seen you before." He probably finds me similar to me in my wolf form when we first saw each other but doesn't consciously associate me with a wolf, his subconsciousness does.
I smelled that the pasta was ready, even as a human I have heightened senses.
"Food's ready. Lets eat."
"Good, I'm starving."
I served the pasta and we sat down
"Smells exquisite." He said after inhaling deeply
"Dig in."
We started eating.
"It tastes better than it smells. Its the most delicious pasta I've ever tasted." He said between mouthfuls.
