The Mask that I wear

"Gerard. Gee you need to wake up now it's time for breakfast." Evee said gently shaking him

"What's for breakfast?" Gerard asked rubbing his eyes

"How does toast and Fruit cocktail sound?" Evee asked

"Toast? Does that mean I get to go back to solid foods?" Gerard asked lighting up.

"Yup!" Evee said smiling

"Hungry Gee?" Rinni asked walking up with toast and a jar of baby food

"YOU BET!" Gee said happy to be back on solids if only partially

"Okay, you wanna feed yourself the toast or do you want us to do it?" Rinni asked

"Y.......You mean I get to feed myself?? Really!?" Gee asked tearing up from joy

"Yeah we think you can manage that much." Evee said

Gerard ate the toast first but sadly was unable to keep half of a slice down. He was so angry with himself he started to cry. When Frank came in with Ray and the newly uncasted Bob and Mikey they saw him crying and rushed over to see what was wrong.

"I can't even keep a piece of toast down without throwing up!" Gerard said getting frustrated

"It's okay Gee." Evee said comforting him "We didn't expect you to on the first try! Your just not used to the texture yet! That's all!"

"But then why did you give it to me?" Gerard asked

"Well you can't keep eating baby food forever!" Rinni said hugging him

"Hey don't get too mad we brought more movies!" Frank said smiling

"What movies?" Gerard asked feeling weak

"Oh just a musical." Frank said "A romance."

"Okay." Gerard said brightening up

Evee popped in the movie and hit play it was "The Phantom of the Opera." They all sat and watched the movie and listened to the beautiful music. They all started to cry when Christine acted like she was going to fall for the phantom instead of Roul. They cried again when the phantom let Christine go with Roul and went away. Then they cried again when they saw that the phantom was still alive after the other characters had grown old and Christine had died. And They cried one more time when they saw the rose that the phantom had left for Christine on her grave.

"That was a sad movie." Evee and Rinni sighed

"THAT POOR PHANTOM!" Gerard said tears running down his face

"What do you mean!?" Frank asked

"Well," Gerard sniffled "I think she should have gone with the phantom!"

"So Your saying that if some other guy with a bad rash on his head asked you to be his

boyfriend instead of mine you would?!" Frank asked

"No but that was really mean leading him on like that!" Gerard said "Besides you are my

phantom. And I love you."

"I love you too Gee." Frank said kissing Gerard on the lips

Evee and Rinni sighed that swoony sigh. Frank and Gerard turned to look at them and they instantly got back to cleaning up the room and getting Gerard some lunch. That night Evee was on the floor and Rinni had the couch. Evee was once again buried in another book having finished "Howl's Moving Castle"

"What are you reading now?" Gerard asked

"Acorna the Unicorne Girl by Anne McAfery

"Cool. Night Evee go to bed soon or you'll not be able to wake up in the morning." Gerard warned

"Okay Gee." Evee said turning off the flashlight
