The Mask that I wear

On the way to the hospital Franks mind raced with thoughts of what could be happening to Gerard.
"What if he is really sick and can't leave the hospital?" he thought frightened
"Worse what if he dies what will happen to us what will I do I can't live without him." he was starting to panic
"Sir do you know what is happening to him?" he asked the paramedic
"As far as I can tell he has internal bleeding in either his lungs or his stomach but I could
be wrong" the paramedic said seeing Franks panicked expression
"internal bleeding sounds really bad I hope this guy is wrong and its not as bad as that"
Frank thought to himself
The ride was a bumpy one and it took nearly fifteen minutes to get there because of the
traffic conditions and by the time they got there poor Frankie was nearly in tears from his own thoughts
"What if he dies What if he dies What if he dies What if he dies" He didn't even want to
thinkabout it but the thought didn't leave his mind by the time Gerard was admitted he was
sobbing quietly into his hands
"Sir we need you to sign these papers" the lady at the desk said nicely "you can go to the
room over there its a nice quite room for people to go to and not be disturbed" she added
sensing Frank's need to be alone
A half hour later Frank came out of the room a little calmer than when he went in as he gave the papers to the lady at the desk the doctor came out and asked
"who came with the man with internal bleeding??"
"That was me" Frank Croaked
" We have found the problem" Said the doctor
