You Implied That You Would Wait for Me

You Implied That You Would Wait For Me Chapter 8

There was Sadie looking beautiful as ever.
She was sitting next to her mom, who was next to her dad.
“Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Freedman, Sadie, it’s nice to see you again,” I smiled.
Mrs. Freedman gave me a hug. “You look so handsome,” she smiled.
“Thank you, you haven’t aged a bit, I’m serious,” she chuckled and hugged me again. I shock Mr. Freedman’s hand then he pulled me into a hug. Sadie was the last one to give me a hug. I held her tightly and she did the same.
We stood there for a while.
“You looked beautiful,” I whispered to her.
“Thanks, you look so handsome, Avery’s a lucky girl,”
“I’m sorry about today,”
“Me too, I do still love you,” she pulled away from me and smiled.
We talked and remember the summer nine years ago. We had dinner and we felt like a family.
The night was over, but we didn’t want it to end.
The Freedman’s left and we got ready for tomorrow.

I drove to Avery’s house and hopped out of the car.
I knocked on the door and waited for her to answer.
She opened the door and she looked different.
She wasn’t dressed up like she has been, she was her normal self.
I smiled. “That’s the Avery I remember,”
“You liked the old me?” she asked.
“Avery, I liked you since day one,”
“You liked Sadie since day one,”
“I didn’t like like you, but I did like you, after hanging out with you, I started to like like you,”
She smiled and blushed. “I liked you since day one,”
I smiled and put my arm around her as we walked to her car.
At school nothing happened.
Just a regular day at Maryland High.
Sadie and I keep our distance. She was mostly with Mitchell anyway.
After school I picked up Grace from school and drove her home.
Avery was hanging out with me.
My mom always said when I really liked a girl bring her home.
So I’m bringing her home.
We listened to music as we did our homework and talked.
I got bored with my English essay so I started to kiss her neck.
She giggled. “Jared, I can’t concentrate,”
“Good,” I said making my way to her lips.
I cupped her face and kissed her.
Our lips moved as one and I pulled her onto my lap as I slowly lied down.
She pulled me closer to her and I hugged her waist tightly.
Her hair tickled my face and she stroked mine.
I moved her hair out of the way.
“Aw,” Grace squealed.
We looked up at her like a dear in headlights.
“Grace,” I yelled.
“What? I was going to the bathroom and I saw this cute moment,”
“Go away,”
“No, are you guy’s going out?” she asked as Avery got off of me.
“No?” I said a little confused.
Were we dating?
“Well, do you want to?”
“It’s up to her, do you want to?”
“Sure,” Avery said. Her face was now bright red.
“Yay!” Grace said. “Now kiss her,”
I smiled and kissed her.
“Okay, now break it up,” Grace said sitting in the middle of us. “I have to embarrass Jared now,” she smiled.
“Grace” I warned.
She ignored me and told Avery all my embarrassing stories.
My mom and dad came home together and once they saw Avery they smiled.
“Jared who is this?”
“Mom, dad, this is Avery, my girlfriend,”
