Your Light Will Shine When All Else Fails

I shook my head. She believed him but they broke up when he cheated on her.
A tear slid down my face. He pulled me in for a hug. I let go and we went back inside.
Zeek came up and gave me $200 dollars.
He smiled and me and pointed me back to the stage.
I walked to the area and saw my next opponent.
I started laughing like no other. I was on the floor dieing.
Zane came and saw me. He saw the girl and laughed a little and helped me up. I pointed to her, "Really?"
"Yes. Hallow. You win me I'll give you $2,000 dollars." She said angry.
It was the prep blonde that called me a whore.
"Alright." I said standing and laughing.
She walked up to me and swung a punch and I grabbed her fist and twisted her hang. I broke one of her nails off and laughed. She grabbed her other arm and scratched my face.
"Bitch!" I yelled and punched her in the face. I stepped her her foot and cornered her. She wrapped her legs around me. What the fuck?
I put my head near her stomach and started punching the shit out of her. I grabbed her thighs and rammed her against the wall.
She gave the oof sound.
I pulled at her hair and ripped some out. Ooo. Bald spot.
She gave up after that, cursing at me.
I laughed at her as Zeek gave me the money. Zane was still next.
I saw a humongous guy come in. Shit.
They fought and of course Zane won.
We walked home after Zane cleaned my face, because he just wouldn't let me do it.
We walked out and went to the beach. It was about 7:00pm.
When we got there I started making sand angels.
Zane through some sand at me. I stood up and grabbed a bunch and poured it over his head. I stood there for 2 seconds before sprinting. I ran like no other but my clumsyness tripped me over air and i fell. He tripped me and fell on me.
"FATASS!" I yelled.
He got up and picked me up bridle style , walking to the water.
"NO!" I said kicking my feet
"PUT ME DOWN ZANE!" I yelled.
He dropped me in the water.
I sat in the water and frowned. I put my hand up asking for help. He grabbed it and I pushed him in. I got up and started running.
"Jay!" He yelled and Jay started running after me. He tackled me down.
Zane reached us and grabbed my arms and Jay grabbed my legs and took me to the ocean. They started swinging me and tossed me in the ocean.
"ZANE! JAY!" I yelled getting up.
Their eyes widened and they started running.
"Mickey!" I yelled.
She got up and started running after them.
I got up and joined her. I attacked Zane while she attacked Jay.
Im not sure what she did, but i started tickling Zane.
He was laughing loudly.
"Hey! KIDS!" I heard a man yell.
We looked up and saw the people from All Time Low. I growled.
"Do you need something?" I asked.
"Can you keep it down?" The 22 year old Alex Gaskarth.
"No. We can do what we want. Its not your beach." I said.
He looked shocked.
"Aww. Surprised that you have people that don't like your music?" I said.
What he didn't know and what i did was my secret.
"Serena calm down." Zane said.
"Serena. That sounds so familiar." Alex said.
"Asshole." I grumbled.
"What?" He asked.
"How about Faith Hallow? Do you remember her?" I almost yelled.
"F-Faith? How do you know Faith?" He asked.
I growled. Zane got up and hugged me.
"Please relax." Zan said.
"Will someone people tell me whats going on?" Mickey and Alex said.
I growled and got out of Zane's hug.
"I'm your fucking daughter." I growled.
Alex's eyes widened, "Serena Alexandria Gaskarth."
"Fuck you! Its Serena Hallow." I yelled.
"Serena calm down please." Zane said.
"What about Zoey? Do you remember Zoey? YOU LEFT RIGHT AFTER SHE WAS BORN!" I yelled.
"Zoey." He whispered.
"We are in a fucking mess because of you!" I yelled and ran.
"SERENA!" "HALLOW!" I heard call after me. I didn't stop. I just ran.
I heard 2 set of foot steps running after me.
I stopped after i got tired.
"Serena." I heard Zane's and Alex's voice.
I started having an asthma attack.
"Zane!" I tried yelling.
"Whats happening?" Alex asked.
"Asthma!" I tried getting out. I tried breathing.
Zane grabbed me and ran me back to beach. He got my inhaler out of my bag and I took 3 breathes.
"Are you crazy?" Zane whispered.
I got up after catching my breathe. I looked at the All Time Low group. I shook my head.
"Zane. I need to get home." I said. He looked at me and nodded his head. He called his brother and asked him to come pick them up.
It was completely quiet until Zane's brother got here.
"Serena, wait." I heard Alex say.
"Just shut up. Dad." I said and got in the backseat.
Zane got in the back too and hugged me.My head was in his chest.
I couldn't hold it anymore. I started crying.
