You And Me Together In This Life Time, Not Going To Work

I sat down next to Shane my hands of the combined bench.
He put his hand on mine and smiled at me.
I forced a smile on my lips.
Me and Shane were playing slide, laughing.
"One, two, three." We said.
We messed up on 15. I laughed.
Ashton was talking on the phone.
"I don't know what to do anymore." He said quietly on the phone.
Our food came and we ate.
The kids were silent, but the parents were talking.
I could here my mom whisper something to Ashton's mom.
I felt both their eyes on me but I was looking down.
"Can I be excused?" I asked.
"Sure. Don't go far." My mom said.
I got up and walked outside the door. I sat down on the bench in front of the restaurant.
I sighed rubbing my arms.
I heard the door open and someone come up.
I felt a jacket on me, I looked up to see Ashton.
I looked back down. I just. I can't hate him. He hurt me, but every part of me is screaming to go back to him, but my head.
He sat down next to me.
"Are you okay?" He asked. I looked at him and I felt a tear slid across my cheek.
He wiped it away, "I hate causing you pain."
"You can't deny that you kissed her, Ashton. It hurts me. But what I really wanted to know is why. Why did you kiss her?" I asked.
"Samantha." He sighed, "I love you, not her. I didn't kiss her."
"You kissed her, Ashton! Don't stand here and lie to my face!" Samantha yelled at Ashton.
"I'm sorry I didn't kiss her. Please believe me." He whispered in her ear.
"Then why the hell was your arms on her thighs?!" I yelled crying.
"Samantha. I was trying to push her arms off of me. I'm so sorry Samantha." He said calmly.
"Bullshit." I said.
"You might want to let her calm down." I heard Shane's voice.
"Stay out of this." He snapped.
"No! Don't be rude to him! All he's done is make me feel better! Why did you kiss her? Because I wouldn't give you what you wanted?! Because I wasn't good enough for you?!" I yelled.
Shane came closer and hugged me. My arms were together on his chest, with my head buried on his shoulder.
