Falling for Someone Unexpected

“Why did you deiced to stay?” I asked Zane.
We were in my room hugging.
“I would miss you too much,” he said pulling away. “Blake, you’re the most annoying girl I’ve ever had to live with. You think I’m hiding something and you think I’m some super human and it drives my insane. But for some odd reason, Blake, I could live with out it. I don’t know when or how it happen, but I’ve fallen for you,”
I smiled up at him. “I’ve fallen for you too,”
Zane grinned and hugged me. he lifted my chin up and slowly placed his icy cold lips on mine and sent chills down my spine.
I wrapped my hands around his cold neck, pulling him closer to me.
“Blake, can you clean the sink for me?” my mom yelled.
I pulled away form Zane’s lips, reluctantly. “Sure,” I called.
I quickly kissed him again and hurried to the kitchen.
I smiled to myself as I washed the dishes.
Zane was staying and he loves me and I love me.
This is such a wonderful feeling.
“Why are you so happy?” my dad asked making himself some coffee.
“No reason,” I lied trying to hind my smile.
“Liar,” my dad could always see passed my poker face. “Who is he?”
“what?” I asked laughing.
“Who has you so smitten?”
“No one. Come on dad, you know guys don’t like me,”
“And I don’t see why. Your beautiful,”
“Thanks,” I smiled.
“So, what’s his name and what’s his GPA,”
“Daddy, there is no guy,” I said drying my hands.
“She says now,”
I gave my dad a kiss and headed back to my room.
Zane was lying on his bed.
“Hi,” he smiled at me.
I laid next to him. “Hi,”
He took my hand and smiled at the ceiling. “I’m guessing this has to be a secret,”
“Yup,” I sighed.
“This is going to suck,”
“A lot”
Zane chuckled. “Get some sleep. We have school tomorrow,”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah,”
He kissed me goodnight and I slowly drifted off.
