Momentum
Caroline’s life has been a sequence of people coming and going.
She remembers mostly people leaving and never coming back, like her mother and her older brother, Chris, who once promised her that he would take her along on all of his adventures. Just as she is making a name for herself in surfing, she, too, is whisked away by her sponsors to spend the summer in New Zealand with a crew of other surfers. Almost as soon as she gets there, she realizes that surfing internationally isn’t anything like she thought it was going to be and that there are going to be many people in the way of her dream of finding the perfect wave. And then she meets Kevin.
