In the distant future the Earth is one big city where water is rationed and all food is processed. Cristie is a fugitive on the run from the government for being alive. She and her best friend were leaders of the rooftop transportation-an illegal fugitive runaway not unlike The Underground Railroad-until the government perfected genetics and sent out new special workers made to collect fugitives.
