'Just Maybe'

Drag me under. Oh god, I’m begging you please. You’re all I’ll ever need. Everything about you is intoxicating; the way you breathe, the way walk, the way you seethe, the way you talk. I’m head over heels when your hands are on my skin. I’m drowning in my memories and fantasies of you, and I’m enjoying the tightness of my chest as the air comes rushing out.

With bloody trails and bruising hearts we’ll belong to each other, and you’ll have your name written all over me. I’ll let you break me in as I scream for you, and you for me, it’s as simple as could be. Can’t you see that I’m all I’ll ever be?

So drag me down, and pull me under. Bury me within arm’s reach, for at six feet under, you’ll die looking for me. I can promise that you won’t be done with me for long; and that you’ll be asking for me back. So ever so sincerely you’ll be begging on your knees, and I’ll smile and say ‘Just maybe.’ I’ll have you at my every whim before you’ll have me at your knees again.

‘Cause oh god, I’m whispering your name, and I’m begging you please. Take me with you when you leave.
