In the Arms of Forever

You woke up and you blinked your eyes a few times. They felt like they were going to burst, you could tell that they were red and puffy. You looked around to see what was going on. You saw that Arizon was humming a cheerful tune and folding up some blankets, over on the far side of the cave the hobbits were curled up asleep. All the men were carefully removing the barricade to reveal that we were snowed/frozen in. "Well I guess we'll be here longer than we planned but at least we're safe." Aragorn said turning to you and Arizon. "Oh well we can make this fun." Arizon said cheerfully. "Yeah, it's getting more fun already." you said sarcastically with a hint of anger. "What's wrong with you?" Borimier asked. "Nothing." you snapped at him. "Ok let's all remember that Idril is not a morning person and let's give her her space." Gandalf said trying to create some peace. "I just wished she'd showed some of that aggression on the battle field." Gimli muttered under his breath. "What you don't think I'm a good fighter without my aggression?" you asked Gimli angrily. "Well, while I was slaughtering ten oruki at a time I saw that you and Arizon had to gang up on four." Gimli yelled at you and that drove you off the deep end. "I SAVED HER LIFE IS THAT NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU! I'm never enough for you or for any one." You said bursting into tears and running to the back of the cave and just sitting there crying. "Wow she's crazy" Gimli whispered behind your back. "Sure when Arizon cries Legolas rushes to her rescue what do I get? Mean whispered comments." you thought to your self as you tried to get your tears under control suppressing your sobs. "You could feel everyone staring at you not doing anything. Then some one started walking slowly towards you. You felt a hand placed gently on you shoulder. You looked up to see who it was, it was Legolas. By now every one had gone back to what they were doing. You slowly looked into his eyes, "Why do you have to be so perfect." you asked him through your tears. He sat next to you and asked, "What do you mean?" "Your sensitive and handsome and engaged you can make anything seem perfectly innocent." you said crying even more. "You forgot charming." he said trying to make you laugh, but you only let out a dejected sigh. "But seriously I'm not perfect, I don't love the woman I'm engaged to, I'm so confused that I make bad and irrational choices, I don't even know who to love anymore." He said looking like a sad little puppy dog. You gave him a soggy hug because he looked like he needed one and he even hugged you back. You gave him a tearful smile, and he help you up and you walked back started you daily duties together. No one mentioned what happened because they were afraid you'd start crying.
"Hey Gimli I'm sorry about yelling at you earlier." you apologized. "And I'm sorry for saying you weren't good at battling. You are pretty good for an elf." He said jokingly. "Aww now look what happens when you forgive and forget." Borimier teased you. "Oh Shut up Borimier." You joked with him. You knew that for now everything was going to be ok.
