Caoimhe (pronounce Keeva) Mahony isn't exactly your normal, everyday seventeen-year-old. Her mother and siblings hate her, and she lives with her eccentric sculptor father and six-month-old son, Deaglan.
When her parents get divorced, Caoimhe's father decides to move Caoimhe and Deaglan from Waterford, Ireland, to a small town in Washington. Caoimhe isn't happy to leave her home, but she is happy to get herself and her son away from her crazy family.
So when Caoimhe arrives in Forks, Washington, she knows that living there won't be as easy as her father seams to think. This suspicion in proven when she meets the Cullens, and a certain Jasper Cullen takes a sudden interest in her.
