15 years after having their first child, Jeffrey and Riley Hardy are working on raising their two children, 15 year old Kylie and 8 year William.

Kylie is tired of her parents. They worry too much about her, they won't let her do anything, and they force her to stay in this dump of a town called Cameron North Carolina. All she wants to do is hang out with her friends and do what she wants.

When her mother suddenly collapses and becomes very ill, Kylie starts to realize just how much her family means to her, and how far she will go to make sure they are around for a long time.
