Love Knows No Boundaries

Ciera climbed into Koby's car. He smiled at her.
"You look great," Koby said.
"Thanks," Ciera said, blushing.
"To prove I do deserve a chance, I'm taking you to my house tonight. You get to meet my family," said Koby, "Is that okay?"
"Sure. I'm up for anything," Ciera said.
As they pulled into Koby's house, a little girl ran out of the house towards the car.
"Bubba!" the little girl yelled.
Koby climbed out of the car, picked up the girl, and said, "Hey Cass."
Koby sat Cass down and motioned Ciera over.
"That's my little sister, Cassandra," Koby said, reaching for Ciera's hand,
Ciera took his hand and said, "She's adorable."
Koby and Ciera followed Cassandra into the house.
Ciera followed Koby into his living room. His parents were sitting on their couch, talking.
"Mom. Dad. This is Ciera. Ciera, these are my parents," Koby said, still holding on to Ciera's hand.
"Hello Ciera. I'm Mrs. Carter," Koby's mom said, standing up and hugging Ciera.
"And I'm Mr. Carter," Koby's dad said as he shook Ciera's hand.
"Hello," Ciera said.
"We are going to go up to my room. Just send Cass up when dinner is ready," Koby said.
Koby walked up the staircase with Ciera towards his room. They walked in. Koby pulled Ciera over and they sat down on his bed.
"I'm sorry about the guys being so mean to you," Koby said.
"Don't worry about it," Ciera said.
Koby took both of Ciera's hands in his, then he saw her arm.
"Ciera. What did you do?" asked Koby, hoping it was an accident.
"Oh. Nothing," Ciera said, hiding her arms.
"Why would you do that?" Koby asked, scooting closer to Ciera.
"Why does it matter?" Ciera asked, looking away.
"I don't want you hurting yourself," Koby said.
"Too late," Ciera said.

"Bye, Mrs. and Mr. Carter," Ciera said as she followed Koby out of his house.
Ciera and Koby walked to his car and climbed in. As he drove her home, they just sat there. Koby stopped in front of Ciera's house. They both got out and Koby walked Ciera to her door. They stopped in front of her door.
"Did I prove myself?" Koby asked, smiling.
Ciera leaned forward and kissed his cheek.
"Yes, you did," Ciera said, blushing.
"So, you want to be my girlfriend?" Koby asked.
"Sure, hot shot," Ciera said, laughing.
"I'll text you," Koby said, hugging her.
"Alrighty," Ciera said as she went inside.
