Emotions Run Wild

I can’t honestly believe what Rose did for me. I understood she wouldn’t always like Scarlet because Alice left because of her and even though I knew there were a few other reasons Alice left, it wasn’t time for anyone else too.

Scarlet made me happy and for Rose to want that for me was more than I could ask for. I would forever be grateful to Rose for what she said to Scarlet.

She was sleeping again. I understood that the blood loss and severity of her cancer was dragging her deeper into exhaustion, but I wish she would wake up.

I wouldn’t be able to turn her; it would have to be Carlisle. But the fact that she wanted to be like me made me incredibly happy and yet I knew I should have been more upset, hell even depressed by the fact that I was going to turn her into a monster.

But obviously, Scarlet loved me enough to be with me, to become a vampire.

I was barely paying any attention to Carlisle when I noticed Scarlet stirring, but something didn’t seem right. She was groaning in pain but it couldn’t just be the cancer.
