“Alright, here’s the plan...” TJ started dropping his large body onto his new bed, in his dorm. “We unpack and all that shit, then we go see what this college has to offer in the girl department.”
“No man, no way.” Jonathan said waving his hand in the air, “We came here to study and play hockey, and chicks only screw that up.”
“Aw, come on man,” TJ groaned adjusting the cap on his head. “I love girls.”
“You can look, but don’t go bringing them back here,” Jon stated, “I’m here for hockey. I don’t need any distractions, especially if I really want to get drafted.”
“Yeah I guess you’re right,” TJ sighed scratching his stomach, “I'm so damn hungry.”
“Let’s go eat,” Jonathan smiled pulling a hoodie over his head. “Do you have any classes today?”
“No, none until tomorrow. You?”
“Same. Let’s go.”

Smiling as he walked along campus, with a hotdog in his hand, TJ could not help but feel elated by all the female attention cast on him.
“Your face is gonna crack in half if you smile any wider,” Jon mumbled taking a bite of his own hotdog.
“Dude, look at that one!” TJ said gawking at the redhead walking by. “She was hot!”
Rolling his eyes Jon, continued walking, “First practice is tomorrow you know.”
“Uh-huh,” TJ said his mind on a blonde girl on the arm of a very menacing looking fellow.
“She looks like she has a boyfriend,” Jon remarked.
“So?” TJ asked giving her a smile. Shaking his head, Jonathan couldn’t help but laugh at his friend.
“Are you taking French or Spanish?” TJ asked after they had returned to their room later that night, while taking out his schedule. He stared at the paper quizzically, trying to figure out all of his classes.
“I already speak French, so Spanish,” Jon explained with a laugh.
“Oh, right.” TJ chuckled, “Me too. I mean I'm taking Spanish, not that I speak French.”
“There’s a party in some sophomore’s room, you up for it?” Jon asked changing the subject.
“Party is my middle name,” TJ said with a smirk, hauling himself off from his bed to change his shirt.
“Alright then, let’s head out.”
