Years at war and there didn't seem to be an end.

He was on leave from the Vietnam War and anxious to get back... until he met her. She was the reason he didn't want to go back. She was the reason he wanted to be normal. But he was the reason she stopped being normal.

One war ripped them apart but another brought them back together.
